I'll take your 2 cents on Google. It's been selling off because the monopoly thing. Because we all just figured out it has a monopoly. I just found out that water is wet also. Mind blowing stuff..

I have a 6% portfolio position in ODD. Price hasn't moved much since I've bought. My thesis points: 1. Already very profitable and no debt 2. Direct to consumer in cosmetics is rapidly growing. They perhaps have the best platform to capitalize on this. 3. They offer guidance, and have so far been exceeding it each quarter. 4. They have large investments in future brands and cosmetic 'molecules'. They have 2 brands now and expect to release 2 more in 2025. Downside is they are diluting quite a bit. I'm fine with this if their investments keep showing successes.

I'm curious why some of these people have small positions in Berkshire Hathaway? Why not just own the stocks Buffet believes in directly?

Berkshire Hathaway at this point is nearly a equity market index of its own, and it’s an extremely diversified holding company that isn’t going anywhere’s regardless of whether Warren Buffett is alive & at the helm or not, and they have over a quarter trillion in cash to invest, meaning they are in a fantastic position regardless of what the next 5 or 10 years holds, they will come out on top. Also many of these billion dollar portfolio managers idolize Buffett and model their investing style after him, it makes sense to own Berkshire lol
