I picked these 8’s up yesterday and they were sitting as expected because I live in the south. We all know Jordan brand materials and paint shows signs of wear and tear even if that shoe isn’t in rotation like that. I added these 8s to my Witerized collection because Jordan brands Winterized collabs have been extremely durable and you can tell that you will have longevity with the Witerized edition. Easy cop for me and can’t wait to see the next Winterized sneaker…I think a Jordan 5 Winterized shoe would be Solid.

I copped the 2015 chromes about a year ago. I loved them so much back in 06 so i had to get the remastered version. That being said I'm passing on the winterized 8s, theyre too similar, with the chromes being the superior sneaker imo.

@gzdaboss443 nah in 2015 it was a well known fact that they "remastered" the chromes and aquas. Both have the different shape, coloring clpsest to the original, and the midsoles with the glittered/metallic paint.

The first winterized was the winterized 12 Jay. I might cop because I'm in Chicago. I buy a lot winterized and ACG shoes. Especially for driving. My pops had an accident once driving while wearing heavy boots. Every since then I started wearing winterized shoes instead of boots when I'm driving in these Chicago winters.

They actually started the winterized collection with the 12s in 2018 I think and if you want to be technical u can go back into 2016 with the wool 3s and wool 12s

Jordan brand made a huge mistake with these. I was on board with these until I saw that outsole. That outsole will have you slip straight into your back if you happen to step on ice. Not doing that. This is where Vans off the wall has it going on. They literally have the best winter shoes. The outsoles are great and durable. You have all the traction and durability you need with Vans winter shoes.

I’ll pass on these. 8s have never really interested me other than the playoffs or if Jordan would retro those Kobe PE’s. I’d spend what ever it took to get some Kobe 8s if those released.
