Heyy Good Day to you roshi, I've noticed something interesting about anya and her mind reading ability. Anya loves eating PEANUTS and peanuts is brain food and there are also other peanuts out there which could develop the brain into a unique one that will function differently to other normal brains maybe thats how she got her ability?? From the experiment lab. And maybe eating peanuts will fuel her ability to read minds??
I love how Loid and Yor are both thinking "I'm not a real parent" while still doing a better job than most actual parents. Notice how receptive Loid was to Yor's suggestions about how to help Anya with school.
I totally agree. Loid encourages/reassures Yor when she has self doubts or talks herself down so despite being in a fake marriage, they ironically have a very healthy relationship that most couples likely strive for.
You know, no one's taking about this, but back in episode 1, they showed that Anya was forced to study when she was being experimented on. She has an aversion to studying but she still tries because she loves her family.
I was kinda expecting one of em to mention it It's what I think of every time she says she doesn't wanna study, or just studying as a topic makes me think about it Def not better bc he just tried to use negative reinforcement
Notice in Damian’s memories of Anya her eyes are bigger, her friends face is blurred. He imagines things even better than they were due to his feelings for Anya
Damn, are they really teaching the Pythagorean theorem, algebra, and fractions to the kids at the age of 6? tf? No wonder Anya broke down. I'd be bragging about how I solved 2+2 at that age.
Loid, looking at a literal six year old girl: "Could this be an enemy spy?!" The amazing part is that this isn't even the WORST example of helicopter parenting I've seen, lol.
idk if yall noticed but the thing with becky was that she tried reading her mind to see her true thoughts about her but she heard nothing and knew that she was gonna be a genuine friend
the thing that makes me cry about anya and damian is the fact that anya has a fake family that treats her like a real daughter while damian has a real family that treats him like hes never there :(
Small detail that I really liked is when he was making breakfast, Loid gave the dishes with proper ketchup to Anya and Yor while keeping the messed up one for himself. Its such a little thing but its so nice 😀
I've been watching some japanese housewives vlogs here on YT and they usually keep the messed up dish for themselves or if they are making a dish their kid might not like much, they give it a twist or remove some stuff. I find that really cute and thoughtful while there are some parents who don't have time to spend with their kids for whatever reasons.
when you compare damians pov of anya looking all cute to the real pov of how anya actually looks at him is so funny lol. He is totally in love right now😭
Anya is so cute lmao. I lost it when she started crying. I love how she happens to be the perfect actress in scenarios when she doesn’t intend it. This show is comedy gold and peak cuteness.
8:09 Loid teaching Anya and not understanding why she can't learn might be because Loid is using the same methods he was teach to become a spy, so he doesn't realize at first that isn't the right method for her.
For those wondering why 6 y.o. kids learn shit beyond their age level, Eden is a prestigious institution where only the best of the best (or kids from wealthy background) can enroll. Basically, a school for prodigies.
@@nimbusws2566 maybe not all wealthy kids, as the school has a degree of standard to adhere to. But I'm sure not even Eden College is immune from straight up nepotism.
@@Ayy_Doll_Fiddler true, but so far we’ve seen that cases like Anya (not necessarily rich but good enough to get in) are more the exception, at least in her class that Loid described as being full of kids from high-profile (wealthy/influential) families. I haven’t read the manga though so I’m just going by what we’ve seen from the anime so far.
damian is soooo cute, i love his reactions to realizing he has a crush, they're so realistic for a 6 yr old! there aren't a lot of anime that focus on very young kids growing up (like anya and damian), plus adults in their older 20s-30s who are new parents (like loid and yor). even though the circumstances are really crazy, it's still nice to have main characters who aren't teenagers like in most anime lol
I think you guys missed the "Blackbell family has been cooperating with the Desmonds" part where Twilight was overthinking. Becky would at least KNOW Damian is the second child, I mean, the whole interfering part might be Twilight overthinking, but it makes no sense Becky wouldn't know how many kids a family who has close business ties to hers have.
*Door bell rings* Lloyd: "In a moment." *opens the door* Unknown person: "Good evening Mr. Lloyd Forger." Lloyd: "Good- evening. How may I help you!?" Charles: "My name is Charles Xavier. I run a school for the gifted *Lloyd's expresses confusion* Charles: "I am here to talk about your daughter Miss Anya Forger."
Lupa forgot that Loid didn't even get any paperwork for Anya. The guy running the orphanage was just like "I don't care. Get her the hell out of here." lololol
Ironically Loid coudn't return Anya even if he wanted to because the orphanage she was from was already shady and didn't even give him actual paperwork.
He can always forge the papers if he wanted to and not to mention the guy from the orphanage was drunk so he’s at disadvantage if Loid decides to pursue them incase
And entrance exams are already done, sure he could request another admission but that would be too iffy. Pulling out one child then applying another that came out of nowhere.
I got to kind of side with Damian a bit. he's only 6 so it's understandable he'd be confused/upset. kids at that age aren't really interested in relationships.
This is probably one of the most relatable episodes in anime. Struggling with school, confused feelings, feeling like you aren't a real parent. It has it all
I like Damian, he has a crush on cute Anya and doesn’t know it! It’s adorable. Loid leaving apology hints all over the school was hilarious. I love watching Loid and Yor fumble their way through parenthood! Line of the day was Loid to Yor..….’Your not a stranger or part of someone else’s family, right now, your the mother of the Forgers’
Notice that blue frame when Anya senses Damian's feelings for her? She said that it was like a chill and she never felt that before, which indicates that she was never loved until now by anyone. That's a sad truth
Spy x Family knows exactly what i want with the show. during this episode i was wondering "when are we gonna get more Yor centered stuff" and boom next episode is mostly Yor centered
10:28 This part might be foreshadow but also i believe that Anya didn't mean Yor with that phrase. We know that in episode 4, Anya started to cry because she remember her mother and it seems she isn't around. So my theory is that Anya's mom try to kill his father, she failed and she is dead. And my other theory of why is that the scientist in the flashback in episode 1 was Anya's father and he force her into experimenting with her power.
You might be onto something. That would make theoretically sense why her mother would have tried to kill her husband. She probably didnt like the way her husband administered experimenting on their daughter and would control herself emotionally until she finally gave in.
While that is good theory, don't forget before she went to school, they had the whole castle celebration for anya and yor went ham on loid. She calls loid and yor chichi and haha which is a bit more formal and old way of calling parents while when remembering her actual mother she said mama. But we'll see.
Well, you don't really need to imo ^The manga's at 63+ chapters, and there is no sign of a family confrontation brewing at all; just more of what we've gotten so far :P
We finally gonna see Yuri make his introduction next week, should be exciting. Leads all the way to one of my all time funniest moments between Anya and Yuri later on
As frustrating as it was I love how Becky was running interface, she a real one. She was not letting them bully her because, misson aside, she did not deserve the animosity 😭 The manga is so good and I'm excited to see how you all react to the rest of the series.
Dont forget that Anya actually is really smart for her age, all of her classmates are 6 while she is 4 years old, that's because in the facility where she was before they made her study a lot, and that's also the specific reason she hates to study (but even if she hates it, she does her best for loid)
I think the reason why Becky knows that Damian is a second son is that Damian's older brother is "well known" in the academy. Also, their families are business partners.
I remember when I was a kid, rumor started spreading that someone had a crush on me, and when some kids confronted me, I literally screamed to them I'll kill them, I never knew who had a crush on me.
FUN fact : just to know, anya fell, He reads thoughts and also feels what people feel, that's why she knew that the kitty was afraid, by thinking and feeling.
I guess you could say Damian is mad......... A MAD TSUNDERE!!!!!!!! I Love the Forgers, and i am thankful Loid has Yor as a counterbalance, and i can't wait for you to meet Yor's brother!!!!
Man each episode of spy x family is just good quality wholesomeness and the character development for the main cast gets better as the series continues. I can't wait until y'all meet yuri. He means well for yor but he's a trip foreal 😂
