Why doesn't everyone delete their own TIkTok app and then delete the TikTok app there problem solved Jeez the fact that that sentence has to be said says a lot about specimens ffs peace out
As someone with 3 kids who has lived facing a playground for several years: not only do kids still do the classics such as water guns & water balloons, nerf guns, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, bikes, scooters, skateboards, soccer, trampolines, snow forts, snow men, sledding, etc.. but they also still trade Pokemon cards! If those kids in the video don't know how to play then they probably just have parents who don't do anything with them and don't get them outdoor toys... which is sad. I've personally never met a child who doesn't know how to play outside though, I think that's pretty rare.
i agree i don’t think EVERY child is chronically online before the age of 10. a lot of them are outside still it’s just the case of parents funding their kids.
I live in an apartment and the kids are definitely playing outside on their bikes & scooters, throwing a ball around, playing with chalk, etc. I’d know bc they’re very loud & have a bad habit of leaving messes around but hey, they are in fact outside instead of in front a screen all day.
Ok but it didn't look like there was anything for them to do, besides walk around or sit down, esp on THAT kind of front lawn, 2 tiny squares of grass with like a parking space in the middle... riveting, it looks like their parents just kicked them out. Whenever im outside all i can do is sit and relax
@@thelastlostcause4148No, you're right, there's a bunch of steps that could be taken to curtail corporate greed, but most politicians won't lift a finger because we live in a country where you can legally buy one
I'm just ready for millennials and genz to be in offices cuz that shit is gonna be either funny, greatest thing to happen to America, or the most chaotic, horrifying situation we will all witness 😂
Vet tech here! So if you get bit by an animal with rabies its almost a death sentence unless caught very early. You have to get the rabies vaccine within 24-72 hours a after being bit and its very painful. The time between infection and when you get sick ranges from 10 days to 7 years so you could go years without knowing you have rabies and then you can just drop dead... So if you ever get bit by an animal , even if they don't look sick, you should go get checked out!
This was one of the cringiest things i ever saw But also extremely pure and innocent. People doing anything besides cringe and then move on and forget about it immediately need serious therapy
Best part is the real reason they want to ban it, they claim it's because china owns it and influences young americans through it but it's just cause the younger generation has been shown to get most of their news through tik tok, meaning they can't be swayed by US news sites and such
I mean to be fair to the kids who don’t know how to play outside, there isn’t really much to do outside anymore. Suburban outside isn’t the wild apple trees, tadpoles, and stick forts that older generations experienced as kids. Outside now is just patches of turf grass and driveways. Not much for kids to explore or get creative with there
@@TheAlienHasArrivedHonestly, he's right, every time i see children out they're either on their phones or really just indoors from people who know but honestly I don't care if they ban it but what frustrates me is how motivated they are to do this but not solve real issues
@@danielromanelli271 true but if i didnt know how to swim i would not love the idea of going on a boat where if an accident happens i am suddenly surrounded by water.... it's good to know how to swim if you get on a boat, for safety
As a former vet tech, rabies symptoms can occur within a few days to weeks but the animal with rabies once dead cannot be buried for up to 6 years because it can contaminate the ground. Horrifying thought today: there is a reason why veterinarian offices have freezers for more than just meds!
your concern about hawks is super warranted. thats almost definitely why the girl pulled her dog away from the hawk. i live in an area with lots of hawks and they are capable of grabbing a small dog or outdoor cat.
@@nomoretwitterhandlesI doubt that is what they meant lol. Just because those were probably in the comments doesn’t mean those are the comments this person was talking about.

I laughed at the kid tiktok dancing... then realized when I was a kid our parents would tell us to get off runescape and play outside, and we would just mimic runescape gameplay in the yard...
god yeah it's disgusting, the thought of it just makes me feel physically ill. everyone does cringe stuff w their partners and it does NOT need to go on the internet
To me as a parent now and as a child in the 80s - "go play outside" was parent code for 'you can get into some shit, but we trust you to make sure it's not so bad someone gets hurt or the cops come. '
Except remember when China literally used TikToks data to track down people informing reporters critical of the CCP? Oh wait, funny videos though. No reason to stop giving all our data to a country whose stated objectives include destroying the US. Haha funny cat video and the same video recreated by 9,000 different people. Yay.
They didn't say it this year. They already passed the bill. Tik Tok will shut down in 6 months if bytedance doesn't sell it to a western company. Tbh this is long overdue. fckbytedance

My friend’s little dog was outside and got picked up by an owl…unfortunately, he didn’t make it as his neck was broken by the talons….but that really happens…I can’t watch the proposal anymore
That one about the kids playing outside, it doesn’t look like they had anything to play with. Maybe they were just waiting outside to leave with parents. Also no filming kids!
to me it’s more of the principle; the government isn’t banning TikTok for data safety. US companies have literally been caught selling our data but the gov doesn’t ban them. It’s censorship and that’s what I have a problem with, the brainrot on that app is a separate issue that the gov has no right to get involved in either tbh
THIS !! so many people are only focused on it being a "tiktok ban" and aren't aware/are ignorant to the fact that this is blatant government overreach and censorship.
"ith thentherthip 🤓☝" brother the only thing that would be getting censored is cancel culture, deadly and criminal "trends", family channels, hivemind mentality, child influencers, and more. I cannot think of one good thing TikTok has done that cancels out the 99% of pure bs. You're literally an addict. Grow up.
I like that the ‘kids not knowing how to play outside’ consisted of a full blown teenager, a tween, and a kid who’s probably around 9 or 10? wtf are they gonna do on that tiny ass patch of grass with no games, no toys, nothing??? even as a kid I’d be bored as hell just walking around, I don’t blame them in the slightest. it’s not dystopian, it’s likely just parents telling their kids to go play outside just bc they remembered at that moment that they used to play outside when they were younger. like your grandparent trying to get you to play kick the can.
So true. Also the fact that they're being filmed. Like you know how creepy that sounds. "Whelp, let me whip up my phone and start filming these kids who don't know how to play outside." plus the visible number plates.
i just want to say im so happy to see another upload. however, i will have to save this so I can watch it in 40 minutes when i'm breaking my fast for ramadan. God, I cant wait to watch this and eat my silly food. I'm so excited!!!
honestly our whole society doesnt support the existence of children. like there no places for them anymore. even stuff meant for kids is meant to keep them away from their parent, not to enrich them or do anything for them

That’s genuinely SO crazy that the raccoon was bold enough to bite the guy. It was either just that: bold, or had rabies. It’s entirely possible it just was pissed and attacked out of fear. Very wise to go to the ER in case of rabies no matter what. Also, Cody is correct, it can actually lie dormant for several years in your body, though typically it’s anywhere from 20 to 90 days that symptoms will start. And once symptoms start, there is no coming back. There’s only a few cases *ever* of people surviving rabies after the symptoms start… Going and getting the rabies vaccine immediately after being bitten though, and taking the subsequent series of shots for it, will absolutely save you. I’ve helped my mom rescue baby raccoons that lose their mother, for years now, and know a lot about them, and I’ve seen a horrifying short documentary on what happens to a human when they have rabies and don’t get treated in time 😳 It’s one of the more horrific ways to go, imo. The amount of suffering, for the length of time it typically takes before you finally die, is truly a nightmare. The guy in the documentary knew he was going to die, and he consented to being filmed through the process of dying, for medical research and education. God rest his soul…
I used to work at a dog boarding center and one dog was so small that we had to put a special note not to leave them unattended specifically bc of hawks💀
ASMR usually involves a tingly euphoric response. Do you get that from these types of videos? Because that's interesting if so. I would've just called them satisfying.
@@corbin101 sooooo... Me reading this comment is ASMR? lol That doesn't really match the definitions I've found online. I'm not looking to argue, just was curious if this person actually gets ASMR from these videos because that was kinda surprising to me
*True story* My mom was on a cruise with my dad and there was this lady with a chihuahua on the top deck. It got snatched out of her hands by a seagull and she never saw it again. Birds def will snatch your little dog.
I haven't laughed this hard in A MINUTE at a video- but that Dad and CODY and Zade's editing of them trying to hit the ceiling 😭😭😭 ahh my stomach, im cramping! Hilarious!
People love to compare TikTok and Vine. They're ultimately the same except for one factor: the internet is so much more commercial these days. TikTok is Vine but with way more sponsors, way more merch drops, livestreams with donation incentives etc. And I believe the demographic consuming this content is also younger. I'm not sure I agree with outright banning TikTok but major regulations are needed.
I do agree with banning TikTok. Regulations are going to take time, that is a fact. Our Congress is the most unproductive Congress in history rn. Until those regulations can come into effect, TikTok needs to go. I'm not pro- or anti-TikTok, but I do think if we have to wait for better safety regulations, then it is best to prevent people from accessing danger in the first place. Better safe than sorry. I do hope we can implement better safety measures soon, because TikTok isn't the only problem, but it IS the biggest problem (in terms of social media). Maybe then we can have TikTok back.
tiktok is literally just a chinese psyop and the fact that so many americans are completely oblivious to it and so deeply brainwashed that they're complaining about it being banned is concerning
It's important to keep in mind that capitalism is largely to blame for the commodification of the internet and social media platforms. How are influencers able to make careers off of these platforms? The corporations that spend their advertising dollars on them. And as for the younger demographic consuming this content - their options for appropriate entertainment/socialization are getting smaller and smaller IMO. Look up info about the decline of "Third Spaces" for kids and teens, which basically boil down to places to socialize and have community that aren't your school, job, or house. Capitalism plays a part in that too.
The tagging geese TikTok reminds me of this time I was walking up the street in my hometown to pick some milkweed for my brood of monarch caterpillars (long story) and the woman who owns a zoo (literally) across the street from the house I grew up in came up the road in her 4-wheeler and was just like "Hey!! Can you grab him!!?" So I turn around and there's a little chicken-like bird running maniacally down the middle of the street with its wings straight up in the air and making this screeching noise. And then she goes "He's actually very friendly!!"
The goose video is great lol. I live in the middle of nowhere and the amount of times I’ve seen people from other places get run out of the parks by geese is ridiculous.
The worst thing about the raccoon video is it's not like they were antagonizing the little guys, that was the animal equivalent of a drive by. I've seen a ton of very deserving idiots get bitten because they were trying to pet or play with wild animals, but these ones were literally just walking down the street and BOOM! rabies shots.
