I loved the close up of Hope. Still remember her as the little baby looking for a meal at her old home. She is really loving her life now. Brutus never ceases to amaze me. He loves all of "his" animals and is so gentle and sweet. You have a great puppy. All of the cows are doing so well. They are gentle and seem easy to handle. Those pigs are cute and fun to watch. They follow the lead of the male and stick close to him. Can't believe how large the egg layers and turkeys have gotten. Some look very mature already. You have a wonderful homestead and your hard work is paying off. Stay safe in those storms.
That's why my soon to be ex-husband says having a farm is the best thing for him because he gets his exercise! He mows 3 1/2 acres with a walk behind, 21 inch blade mower. It takes him 13 hours but he gets his steps in. It's been great for managing his diabetes. All summer all he does is mow.
Hi.... AL and GINA you both are doing great and good job beautiful thanks you for showing your video homestead 🐔🐓🐣🐤🍗🐕🦮🐖🐷🐝 🐄 🐐 BYE 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
G’day😊 Aw this was a lovely video with all the farm critters ❤ looks like that gate needs some WD40 so you can open it easier! That was funny cute from Black Beauty mooing at Miles as if saying “hey boyfriend”! 😂
Good morning everyone! Hope you have a great weekend! We have had tons of rain here. Should have built an arc!!Ha ha ha ! Look at Brutus!! He is getting so big!!
Tks for video. Gina you did a great job on cheese and pizza looked good. Saw you wave at us in barn when it was raining lol. Al you had a full day with all that moving animals. Loved seeing all of them. It was funny when you were pouring out piglets water barrell lol. I'm sure Ben and Jason were crying when they saw all the rain you got....lol. Brutus is the best , he is learning and doing so good, even with chicken peck....lol. Much love to ya
Al you need to gather the sand ( that Gina was talking about ) and then remove some dirt, to make a low spot, then every torrential rainfall you will get more sand, year after year, then I'd put that huge ( square looking ) flattop bolder there beside, and accompanied by steppingstone bolders for Brutus, Goats and Chickens to perch on as lookouts for farm ! Think about it this way, if someone wanted a few of your rocks, a few of your bolders, what Use would relate, and then do just that, place bolders to permanent locations, just for reason of never thinking about or relocating that Monument ever again ! Do it as a reoccurring ( to-do, list ) few times yearly, create monuments in Pasture, secondly' find a low area near barn, near where Chickens get butchered, and dig-out whatever can easily be escavated, then fill the hole with small bolders and big rocks, to then cover with dirt, use that as a drainage basin for when Butchering, just run a pipe barely underground ( no freeze concerns ) and that gets rid of as many Rocks and Bolders as size hole you dig !
Good day Al, Gina,Olivia and all Lumnah family & friends. I love seeing all the livestock, Hope is still so cute, trots up looking at the camera saying "don't forget me"! See you all next week.
The animals out on their own pastures look very contented. Brutus checked everyone out before they left and even checked the pig hut to make sure it was OK too. That was quite a rain, I'm surprised y'all didn't have more ruts and wash out than you did. Y'all have a Blessed weekend. Looking forward to seeing what new animals are joining the farm.
Good morning, AL AND GINA AND LADY O. Love seeing HOPE & DAISY. MISS THEM. All the animals are happy to be outside in New pasture. Great job, AL planting the perfect grasses for them. You and GINA are BLESSED. 55🎉❤❤❤ FRIDAY SHOPTALK WAS ANOTHER GREAT ONE. I appreciate all you share with us. How was the pizza???❤ SE MICHIGAN 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
This is fun to watch! I keep thinking if my grandpa, who farmed. He would have been amazed at all the technology and modern machinery used in farming today. He did have a tractor , a manure spreader that looked like yours and a few other machines. He never saw a weed whacker, used a scythe. Holy smokes, that is one heavy rainfall! Weather is crazy everywhere. Stay safe and dry!!
Gooooood Morning Edman. The rain in this video isn’t from the big storm we just got. This was a few days before. It is a bit soggy here to say the least. Did you guys get any of the big rain from beryl on Wednesday
Aha! My attention was caught by the blue tarp behind Al just out the barn door behind him. I watched closely, then I saw a little hand waving Hi, from a little barn door on the left. Whew! I'm getting older and don't always believe my vision! Thanks Gina for the Howdy with the said blue tarp. I don't respond often and it was special to me and my sanity.!!
That mozzarella looks AMAZING, Gina! I’m so glad that it works for you. The pizza brought back some nostalgia for my college days breakfasts. That storm really tore its way through New England! Ken had some terrifying footage of his area. There isn’t a drainage system in existence that can handle that much rain in such a short time.
Everything seems to be falling into place .. That is a good thing ! I think Brutus is such a great dog !!! I love Dogs !!TAKE CARE .... I LOVE YOU ALL !!!! 🥰 🥰 🥰
Hi Al,Gina,Olivia,Brutus. That was a change in the weather again but they all got out in the end. Lots of animals there now so looking good. Take care happy family.
Gotta convince Gina, but Sow having Piglets few times yearly should entertain us ! I think any new baby Goats would be sold-off, cause they certainly won't be wanting Goat milk !
Hi Al, I use a Piece of oblong tube that I can slide over the forks that act as fork extensions for just such times that you need to move / position the arks. About 9ft ones do just when you need them. Regards Farmer Steve. UK
Good morning Lumnah's! Everybody's moving to a new area and it looks great. So happy that with time Brutus adjusted to riding in a vehicle. He's one amazing pup.
Your animals seem so much calmer this year . We have already started having rain but we are in Autumn but go Into winter In August. We are in Perth, Western Australia.
Love seeing the farm operating and blessing all! Miss seeing all the goats though, especially the little ones prancing around you. Maybe someday get some more to help clear the brush.
Hello there to the Lumnah Family and all visitors to the OGP site! We are looking at a scorcher today and tomorrow will be worse. Time for me to get into the garden and get some work done before the heat and humidity drive me back to the AC. Blessings on your weekend endeavors!🙏🌞🫖📚🐈⬛✨️
Hi Damogran Heart! I'm packing all weekend! I got my apartment on Monday! Luckily he has central air in the farm house at the farm so I can pack in comfort. Can't wait to move! Try to stay cool!
Saturday a.m. Immediatlely after the rumble of thunder on your video, the sky opened up here in the Twin Cities (0800). Pouring just like in your video. Love the peek-a-boo wave at 17:37! "FARM FIT" would be a good t-shirt!
That was really cute with Gina framed by the blue tarp and the door frame! I'd buy a shirt with that on it and "Farm Fit" because she is and she used that blue tarp against the rain! Farmer's "make do." It's looking really dark here in Red Wing at 10:22 am. The rain will probably hit us soon!
Enjoyed watching you and the different animals as they got moved so easy and seem well trained already and yes the chicken whispering dog i have heard their names ! and yes every day there is something to do on a ranch and farm land and weather is always a factor, hi to you all ! and very nice you like the work as it is a pleasure !...
Send that glorious rain down to Georgia please. We've had less than an inch June and July with this horrible heat wave. So many people need rain and so many people have flooding. Such a strange year. I absolutely love what you and Gina are accomplishing.
I’m not a homesteader but I sure like watching your videos. If I were younger this is what I would want to do. Have a great rest of the month Al, Gina and Olivia. ❤
Normally when there is music on, I mute my computer, but I like your choices of music and I know you stop the music when you talk and I don't want to miss anything!
You have hills and you have bolders, you should combine a few to create Loading Docks the hight of your Trailer to always back trailer upto, then drive or forklift what trailer has hauled, one near Shop and one near Gravel Trailer lot, is two places that have the need, you must consider heavy equipment purchases in future, even tho your lift trailer is ideal, it still must have pallet loads off loaded from sides, So' building a loading dock makes gathering pallets with forks a level drive onto, eliminating offloadings suspended heights !
My goodness I was watching your video and you started asking do you hear that. It was Thunder and it was thundering and raining at our house at the time it was like having stereo weather. I had to giggle at the blue tarp monster.
Have you watched Grandpa Doss Farms? He has an IPP named Lola and he had to put her and his Kune Kune pigs on a diet, and they look good. Just don't forget to brush them when they blow out their coats lol. Such sweet pigs
Goooooood mooooorning AL, Gina and Olivia fellow viewers and all my friends Hoodie from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Just love how AL can make us sit on the edge of our chair. Look at the thumbnail caption 😅😅
Good Morning Lumnah World! Good morning from Tidewater Virginia. We have had our share of heavy rain over the last two days, with more in today forecast! Everyone seems to like their new areas. Stay dry!
Gooood morning Lumnah's! What a damp, wet, SOAKED day. The " critters" seem to be adjusting wonderfully. Run off appears to be doing as you planned, considering! Looking forward to the new animals. Thanks for sharing.
