OMG this is the sweetest thing I've ever seen 😍😍 I wish he would've went into a little more detail about what he has to do differently with a blind pupper. I'm curious.
A German Shepherd is the perfect dog for guiding a blind puppy. They are very serious about their job and they will throw themselves in front of a truck to save you from getting hit by it. All dogs are loyal, but G. Sheps are LOYAL, law abiding canine citizens from birth. It's like they were born wearing a K9 police badge. They will also guard any kids in the family and keep a close Shepherd eye on them at all times.
you right but I love how you said "law abiding" lmaoo my German Shepherd (8 months old, named Finn) is the most loyal good boy ever, but I wouldn't say "law abiding"🫢🤣
My families German Sherpard Rusty saved my toddler son from falling down a flight of stairs by placing her body across the top step so my son wouldn’t attempt to crawl down and fall . When I realized what she did I couldn’t stop crying and hugging her she was our guardian angel that day and everyday ❤
My gsd was in the garden with my 2 year old niece and our gate had the chain on so the garden was secure but any time she toddled off towards the gate he would circle her and herd her back to the playmat. It was the absolute sweetest thing. Its not something that we even thought of teaching him, he just knew "protect the little human"
The “bye symphony and mozart” scared the living shit out of me 😭💀 Edit OK now how the h3ll did I get 411 likes on this comment, I have never gotten that many likes on a comment ever
That is so sweeettt that Mozart stands by and watches Symphony like a wonderful caretaker. He is concerned but unbothered 😅. You are fantastic letting Mozart and Symphony stick together during their groom sesh.😊 You look exhausted after this one. Logan, you really do make a huge difference in all your clients’ daily lives. They know they can trust you and you’ll always give your 110% percent! ❤❤ hugs to Symphony and Mozart, the dynamic duo siblings.
You gotta be the most wholistic groomer I’ve ever seen. You take everything about a dog into consideration and one can tell you’re heart is so into it. Your professionalism, caring nature, and positive attitude is a true gift. Your “clients” are 1 blessed group of pups!!!
They look 😍 great. I had a senior blind pug named Bull as a client in my grooming class. He became so excited when he knew I was there. I am so blessed to have Bull to teach me patience, love and how to be thankful for my sight and not take it for granted. RIP Bull 🙏 🪦 😌
Did Mozart just adopt this job as a big brother? Or was he trained just for her? This is so cool. I wish I could give that dog an award of some sort lol
Shepherds are the absolute best siblings, ee had one when I was growing up and she was the sweetest, most protective pup ever. If my dad got (rightfully) angry at us she'd always be on standby either getting between us and my dad or trying to get his attention to defuse the situation. And to clarify my dad wasn't even abusive or anything like that, he'd get mad about stuff like us burning out the weed wacker while mowing the lawn and just tell us off in a stern tone. She was ride or die and I still miss her to this day
I groom a dog that is prone to seizures, and she has an emotional support sibling as well! I have to bathe them and dry them together. Then my co-worker and I push the grooming tables together and groom them side by side. They are such an adorable pair. ❤️
German Shepard are such good puppers, just like any if they’re trained properly of course, but naturally I feel like most of them are perfect for families and will grow an amazing bond with them and protect them as well if you need a guard dog in your area too!
This is so sweet. I have a diabetic elder dog (12 yr old) who is going blind slowly and her sister (same age) I pray guides her this way if we lose all sight eventually. 🙏
Where are you grooming at? I would actually take a road trip from Texas with my Shiba, Shiro he's 13. Where are u? Tell me now! (Logan's Darth Vader voice)
Cuties! My dog isn't blind, but she has major PTSD from her prior living situation so has her own emotional support dog. It completely changed her life! Sometimes animals need support too =)
My grandpa had a giant black german shepherd named "Rex" (very common here in germany) when I was a kid. Rex protected the farm and became friends with one of the feral cats, a tiny white fluff that we names "Dux". He was deaf and was missing one eye and didn't like people at all. They were so close, Dux eventually came into the house at night to sleep next to Rex on his bed. They were best buddies til both died just 4 hours apart when I was 15.... man did I cry....
As a German shepherd owner, you ate correct that they look unamused almost all the time. The exception is puppydog eyes, focused, and being the biggest derp the world has ever seen, sometimes making our impulsive thoughts wonder if she accidentally sniffed cocain.
Awww they're great together!! I have one that has age related blindness. Unfortunately she can't stand the pupper that would make a great support dog for her, so he'll just remain my support dog since he knows when I'm having a hard day!!
My buddy has a Shih Tzu he adopted that was born in a puppy mill. The dog has been completely blind from birth... But no one has ever informed this dog that he is blind. This dog runs full force everywhere. My buddy has lived in the same place since he adopted this dog and never changed the furniture, but the dog runs into everything. There are layers of bubble wrap everywhere to protect this dog.
Stop putting your face in the dog’s face. It’s crazy and sets a terrible example. There is no value there, the dogs either don’t even like it or they don’t care. It’s only for you.
I have a deaf Chihuahua and if there’s one thing I’ve learned with his disability and dogs that have disabilities. They are so much easier to train they are so fucking smart 😂I have three other dogs perfectly fine and my Chihuahua learns so quickly such a good boy it’s so funny to me they may have disabilities but boy are these dogs strong as fuck! ❤😂🎉
Best dog in the world ! , A German shepherd ,my shepherd, did the same she was amazing.she just knew that her brother couldn't see anymore and loved my daughter and my son when he was born ,and never left his side , and now i found my shepherds blood line and bought my son my Lacy's great great niece , she is a love and i couldn't imagine a life without a shepherd in my family !
My neighbor has a GS she’s blind and deaf in one ear she loves to come in my yard and sunbath she has a favorite spot. Everyone knows no to mess with her. We don’t know why she picked my yard but we let relax oh and after awhile she’ll bark letting me or her mom know she wants fruit or water I give her a lick pad full of goodies yes she’s spoiled
My moms a dog groomer and she does a pair of dogs from the same owner named Oreo and Quinston (she does one and then the other) she usually does Quinston first because when she does Oreo Quinston will jump from the floor into the tub with the door shut(the dog has some serious hops) just for reference Quinston is a small(not mini but not big) Australian Shepherd.
My shepherd loves to swim in the lake by the house but he hates getting in the. Bathtub, when he's bugging me I'm going for a shower I look at him and say go for a bath go forbath he raises his hair on his body and takes off lol
