Alan & Max going off about clothing sizes makes me feel better as a female that deals with this. Being plus sized adds to it also because there are a few select stores that carry the correct sizes and seeing something cute from like small businesses usually sucks because 99% of the time they don’t sell plus sizes. Thank you Mammoth Club for providing larger sizes of the previous merch drops!

Clothing sizes are completely confounding.

OMG. Clothes sizing really should be scientific and standardized by this point. Seriously, wth is humanity doing with it's collective time that this hasn't happened?

I know the answer to how do you stay humble AND be proud of yourself at the same time.. There is an emotional space between those 2 feelings and it is: being satisfied. Be satisfied with yourself and that is a peaceful combination of the two.

We took our son to WDW for the first time when he was about 4 and a half. We had the best time and he remembers pretty much all of it. Another good time was when he was 9. He was just tall enough to make all the ‘big’ rides. So felt very grown up. 😊

The costuming pants conversation really took me back. Not only did they all fit different they were the most unflattering pants I have ever had the displeasure of putting on my body!!! Why Disney, why????

😂to be fair people just need to watch where they are going and be considerate of us moms sweating every ounce of liquid out of our bodies while trying to give our kids the best day of their lives, people will dead ass try to cut you off or run in front of you misjudging their speed and I push a front and back stroller witch is sooooo hard to steer and try to navigate through thick crowds. What really pisses me off though is when people dont move out of the way for electric wheelchairs my mom is constantly being cut off.😢

In regards, to what age is best to take children, I think it’s a personal decision based on the children and the parents. I am not a very patient person, so I waited till my kids were eight years old. It was perfect! Not only do they remember, but I didn’t have to deal with a stroller, afternoon naps, and they could walk around without getting too tired.

OMFG! When you were talking about the clothes…. With the XL and XXL shirts the parks sell, they’re different sizes. Drives me nuts! Sometimes it seems like I’m wearing a nightgown thanks to one that somebody bought me.

I took my kid when she was 3, and all I thought was, "This would be so much fun if she was older." I took her again when she was 12 and had the best time ever! She was old enough to do everything, had the stamina to go all day, and still liked me. 12 is the perfect age.

ABSOLUTLEY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU EVER MAKE YOUR OUWN WEDDING CAKE!!!!😂 Trust me i thought it was a good idea i e neen decorating for about 8/9 years as well amd you just have so many other things to do as well as everything and anything that could go wrong will. I got married in my friends back yard but no one told me that they tore up the toad to do work on the water lines so the whole road was bumpy and iiitt destroyed my beautiful cake had i known i would have saved so much time and money just doing cupcakes the whole wedding was a disaster anyways but it started with the cake-_- do not be me in a bell sleeve wedding dress trying to do touch ups while you should be getting married.

Star Wars AGREED! there has to be a focus villain...Vader is that in 4 and 5...if he is seen as Anakin..he doesn't exist as the villain...and the series lacks a central villain. You learn to love hin as Luke does as he makes the total sacrifice for his son and regains his place. Loving him as Anakin from childhood does not allow the central theme of 4/5/6 to exist.

I used to write articles for a disney website. one of my topics was the best age for Disney World. You’re right, 6 was one of the best ages! the actual range was wide, 3-12, with 6-9 highlighted as really great.

We have been lucky enough to take our son to WDW or on a Disney cruise pretty much at least once a year since I was pregnant and he's 15 now. You take them when they're young and everything is magical. You take them when they are a little older to create the lifetime of memories. I honestly believe we may not remember those early years of our childhood, but our subconscious does.. and our brain gets saturated with all those great hormones when we have positive events in our life... so our brain benefits from it as well...core memories aren't all conscious... they are stored. Those Inside Out people really dug into child psychology on a relatable level.

I'm a teacher and I have some suggestions to try for the kid eating better. But it's important to remember that sometimes parents try EVERYTHING and kids still won't budge. I know kids that would literally throw up every time they ate something they didn't like so none of this would work. They'll probably grow out of it eventually so just do the best you can. 1. Create a "trying new foods" chart. If they reach a goal, they earn a special privilege. 2. Have family meals where everyone eats the same thing together. If they don't eat what is served, they will get no other option. Your home is not a restaurant where everyone gets individual meals. 3. If possible, create a little garden. Kids always love eating something they helped grow. 4. Most parents I know still do, "If you don't eat enough healthy food, you don't get dessert." I think that's completely fine too. It doesn't cause the "trauma" that people project. I think it's fair and it makes sense in trying to eat a balanced diet. Most of us were probably raised this way. It usually works! I usually see the unhealthy relationship with dessert happen when kids are never allowed to have sugar ever. Then it becomes the "forbidden fruit" and they become obsessed with sneaking it as much as they can.
