Pundits disrespects us, bookies like Stake disrespects us, fans disrespect us and suddenly after one big win they all change their tone and now we can challenge for the title?🤣 I cant believe this is real life😂
@@skyshooter4009 Chelsea outside top 7 is far more likely than them winning the league this season lol. But I do think they will finish 4-6, maybe 3rd if its a REALLY good season
Thing is though, Chelsea are in that uncertain bracket where they literally could just win the league or even more bizarrely get relegated. You just never know with them.
Cole as a 10 cooked. I think it's his best position. But Madueke despite the goals is a fugazy I don't trust him to be consistent. Feels like he's better off the bench. I'd rather have Felix and co. Involved. Neto, Felix, Palmer and Jackson somehow on the pitch at the same time would be so fluid. Madueke can come in to cause chaos along with Nkunku and Mudryk.
Dude it’s only 2nd game of the seasons, everything needs time. Maresca said it himself weeks ago what’s wrong and what’s need to be fixed, we are vulnerable when it comes to transition.
Madueke is young. He is learning to be technical. I can say this for sure, this guy is there at top when it comes to take on defenders. Most of others just pass it back. Once he learn to be more technical, this guy can be a very top player
@@madfox5085 Finished his finishing skills...not sure what is worse, your grasp of the English language or the fact that you believe that Madueke is actually a quality player after watching him spurn chances week in and week out. Dont let a hattrick against opposition that you as a "big club" is expected to beat, fool you into thinking that any of the crap you call your first eleven is anything but crap. Even your best player was benching at City.
Thats the wonderful brain of these idiots in the sports media. One loss they are terrible or crisis but one or two wins they are as great as Man City or Real Madrid.
@@Peter-n7t3w Not yet, teams that win the league have solid defensive players. I think that should be our first concern if we want to do better going forward. We won't score 6 goals every game
Nah, as a Chelsea fan we also need to fix our defence, Wolves could easily have scored more than 2 goals. But once we fix those two things we could definetely finish top 4 this season.
Yeah but we lost against random sky blue midtable team last week. Consistency is the key. Hope Maresca will find it as soon as possible. Up The Chels 💙
As a Chelsea Fan we are certainly not Challenging for title. Some hopeful Maresca Ball spotted, Happy with it. Top 4 will be extremely satisfactory and reduce our pain which we suffered for last two years.
You can see the crucial partnerships in the team that make up those fluid attack; Palmer & Madueke, Enzo & Caicedo, Felix & Neto. Didnt like the leaky defence. We need to be more solid at the back.
My 6 Chelsea Observations • Palmer was brilliant, Cucurella, Enzo, Colwill & Noni did well too. Caicedo was also good for balance in midfield & I hope his injury isn't too serious • Good to see Félix get a goal & Neto get an assist. Mudryk take notes • Excellent 2nd half performance & we're getting better at controlling games • In light of today's 2nd half I'm excited for who we could get up front (#9🇳🇬). Still need a no.1 striker. • KDH should step up • Well done to Sanchez for Palmer's goal but I still have the sinking feeling that we'll concede whenever he's in goal. Still wanna see more of Jørgensen going forward.
Curca played awesome second half of last season, and then got called up! And deservedly so! It wasn’t playing for Spain that made him better! He’s class!
He didn't say that. He said if they click and they are consistent. They might challenge, hayy I don't think that'll occur but it's not a ridiculous statement
The same pundits would have argued Chelsea will fight relegation if we lost. Honestly we need 2-3 years for fighting for title and once we are back no one can stop us
Malo made defensive mistakes leaving his man free on the back post that’s why we conceded. But I think it’s getting used it the system and underlapping…he was much better in the second half and still getting by forward well, even on a yellow card
Jamie O'Hara forgets he's not on banter radio station, Talksport here. They change with the weather. It's a impressive win and this Chelsea team can build on the strong finish they had to last season but they need to improve a lot defensively, which counts against better opposition.
Let's not get carried away, lads. I saw this as a Chelsea fan. We attacked brilliantly, but if we want to be in the top 4 conversation, we need to fix the defense. Our midfield got run through today. Our attackers saved us from embarrasment.
Noni Madueke is currently Chelsea's best player this season. He's proven this fact since the beginning of pre-season till date. Just like Palmer last season, he might become our biggest surprise this season. In addition, I would prefer Victor Gyokeres as our new striker this season instead of Victor Osimhen. What do you guys think?
i’m a chelsea fan who has been told the most biased fan on the planet, i think madueke is better then saka for context, but even i can admit we’re years off any title challenge 😂😂😂
@@jonnyhull7860 skill set for skill set one’s a pacey winger who can’t take on a man the other is an even more pacey winger who is lethal in front of goal who can take on a man as good as anyone in the league
I’m a Chelsea fan, but I think Wolves competed today and we should remember they have won a lot of matches against Chelsea in recent times and the first half was not an easy one for Chelsea. However, Maresca has shown his understanding of the game and that changes everything.
Lol, it's funny how one game changes the whole vibe! ⚽️ But hey, gotta admit, Madueke's hat-trick was something special. Let's see if they can keep this up! 🤔🔥
Is not it crazy how one result change opinion of all pundits? Because they know nothing they just watch results Chelsea vs City was not as bad as they were talking about and this one is not as great as they are talking about. Chelsea has issues in defence tactically that Maresca must address. I am a Chelsea fan by the way :)
It's amazing how fickle football fans are. After one amazing performance against a mid-table team, they can challenge for the title? Honestly, what is wrong with people?
It's not just any mid table teak. It's a premier league mid table team. On another day you can lose draw these games. You saw what happened to united yesterday
@@mzansifamilyvalues8040 Yes, you can lose these games. But, winning these kinds of games once in a while like how Chelsea have been doing the past few years doesn't mean you'll challenge for the PL title. You need consistency. Chelsea doesn't have that.
@@vineetposani97 How can you say Chelsea dont have consistency? They've played 2 games. Everybody loses to City and they won the other. Maybe wait a few more games before coming to a conclusion?
🙄 did this fella watch the first half?? Brilliant second half performance, but we can't ignore how atrocious some of our first half play was. Anyway, early days and there's a lot of positives.
Just 1 game. It was a very good performance to get some confidence but the team needs to continue working as a team. Hopefully this removes some of the negative noise.
I am a chelsea fan and i will be honest i believe we still need that defensive stabilty and leadership if we can get that then we can come close to city and arsenal but at the moment top 4 is the target
