I don't understand how these came in the standard red nike box but the voltage purple is different. Also not really a fan of the gradient on this, way to much yellow. Weird they changed the name from pimento to sunset. Nike really missed on these.
Same here. The yellow threw me off when I first saw it. Was a little disappointed just cuz the OGS are some of my all time favorite so I was hoping for those...but these are still fire...so it is what it is.
Not sure I agree, they finally got the gradient correct to the original like we saw in the catalogues as kids and its a problem? Plenty of botched pairs from 2018 for grabs.
@@RubbelisPro it's a problem for me because those aren't the version I was looking for...i wanted these to be more like the orange versions. Those are the ones I personally like most.

I just custom ordered mine for $180 instead of getting these Pimiento ones. Did an all black with a sail outsole and whale tail. I’m so happy Nike did a custom option on these.
@@TheLifeOfABroski maybe its because Nike has done an NES inspired BW (very rare today and lesser known) and a N64 inspired 97 (underrated). Wild these two aren't discussed more in collections that are nike heavy from guys our age range.

Not even listed as OG,materials Broski are waaaaay off and colour and look seems strange on the 2024 not mention the box and no OG logo on the insole,compared to my working in footlocker when these came out originally (yes im showing my age) these seem like fakes compared to the OG 😢😢

Be weary of buying these shoes. If you do, pay very close attention to the bottom rubber tread becoming unglued from the foam midsole. Send them back IMMEDIATELY as Nike refused to honor their warranty for my Air Max Plus in Canada.🎉 ( I no longer purchase Nike products).
