I was one of the NCO's in 1st batallion that was supporting you guys on the left flank and let me tell you, That hold in the left flank was one of the most gallant things I've ever seen. Us guys in 1st couldn't do much because we didn't want to risk committing accidental Tk's, so firing was out of the question. It was decided we were going to charge to support you guys, only to realize the enemy had all been annihilated. Good job 5tVA and good job 13thGA and welcome to 2nd Corp. Also those last 2 minutes gave 300 A run for its money. It may not seem much in the video but if you were in the actual match it felt as if our hearts were about to burst out of our chest because of the intensity and desire to win and when that victory screen came in you felt like you achieved ultimate perfection.

I resigned my NCO position and left the regiment when they switched to Confederate. Now, I’m a Captain in the “Fightin 69th” NY Irish Brigade. I miss the 14th BK 😭

18:41 I would've waited until they were almost right on top of us (still where they couldn't see the main body.) then have three guys turn and run to get their attention. After that have the men quickly stand and give them a volley and once they're disorganized rush in with the bayonet. Edit: 19:17 Nevermind then! That was excellent!

Im still waiting for see other classes :( What's missing is Sharpshooters/special elite rifles. Cavalry, Hussars, Carbine cav. Cannonteers. Drummers (because why the hell not need some music up in here). One time respawning scout class that anyone can use. What I meant is anyone on either side can play a scout which is basically a line inf. but if he does he can respawn and meet up with his unit again. But I'm just spilling ideas so no hate please. There's better ideas than mjne

As a life long civil war enthusiast, this looks like the best visuals I've seen and I want to buy this game -can anyone tell me: is this an online only game to play with other gamers, or can I get to grips with it on my PC alone first? These videos seem to suggest you need to be signed up to a game play forum??

I'm from Canada..I want to fight with the Confederate forces. Apparently confederates including( supposedly by rumour)John Wilkes Booth were spotted in Montreal before and after the American Civil war . I think some fled up here . Need this game in my life .

Booth only barely lived a few weeks after the end of the war, and died within the week from Lincoln's death after being cornered and shot in a barn in I think outside of New York.

The Canadians, under British direction, actually worked with the Confederate Military to plan launch points from Canada across the border into northern states (Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana were some of the the planned targets) for Confederate forces. Of course the plan was never carried out for many reasons, but some of us midwesterners are a little perturbed by the Canada-Confederate connection. Not to mention because Canada gets such a good wrap during the war...
