@@reaperiwk7555 please explain how that has any bearing at all on what I said. Lmao, he explains how the parts work. FS changed some of the parts. Has nothing to do with anyone’s play style. Christ man lmao
He's most probably going to update his sheets and compare all parts to see which are worth your time. There's no need to make several vids about thrusters, missiles , etc.
@@Trachs ac test. It’s doing a little less damage now I was using it over and over again before the patch but I notice a small change since this mornings patch not just the consistency but damage. It’s a small but noticeable change
Agreed. Once the earshot is fired, it was out of business for the next 12 seconds, on the other hand, the Nebula was basically a neverending lightshow that was impossible to dodge on shit netcode.
the basho arms probably got hit with a nerf because their defense values were so high for the weight if you don't care about aiming stats, which made them pretty good for missileboats as well as just melee
PvP already feels like less of a slog. For starters, I've already noticed more diverse loadouts on AC's that are aware of the patch. People that haven't noticed and are still using the pre-patch meta spam like the Coral weapons, Zimmers, and Stun Needles are no longer free wins against AC's not using them. As someone that loves lightweight AC's, the speed mobility have felt amazing. Coupled with the buff to parts to prevent instant stagger, i no longer have to fight tooth and nail and get sweaty fighting even suboptimal builds. The difference in capability feels night and day. Overall I'd say this patch has been great. heavyweights stay viable and great weapons are still great, but lightweight and different weapons that were not meta are now no longer feeling like a pointless waste of time. All i really want at this point is a netcode patch and I'd be content.
Bazookas feel so nice, lightweights are now the hit hard and leave harder playstyle, fanTASIC buffs, and this is only the beginning more buffs will come
I haven't even looked close at the changes yet but this pass looks well-deserved. Zimmers, songbirds, and stun needle were broken as hell and needed the change. If they're really buffing the ACS recovery on lightweight builds that's just icing on the cake, I'm sick of being stunned forever and not having a way to mitigate that.
pulse armor activation negates acs buildup and acs' break-recovery state, but yeah, lightweight acs needed a bit more edge to cut it tbh. double zimmy nearly made me quit building light mechs
@@weir-t7y I don't know if maybe I was imagining it or if fighting more against the coral version of the weapon had me misremember, but when I came across a handful of AC's using the Aurora earlier in PvP they seemed to be hitting all shots far more often than before. Maybe it's just wishful thinking that they got shadow buffed.
Air burst grenades are pretty interesting. Wish we had a few more with shorter ranged fuses. The arm grenades with sub 300 range could be pretty interesting in pvp now.
It feels so good in my lightweight kiting dual laser plasma missiles build. Racking up wins in 1v1s. The best part is.. there were so many varieties of builds I faced, quite a few close matches where opponents are actually using cover and dodging attacks to close in finally instead of AB face tanking and spamming Zimmer kick.
Small note on the TAI YANG SHOU, one of my favorite weapon, the reload speed buff is pretty noticeable, the range buff a little bit less but still extremely nice, the most important though is the ammo, going from ~20 to 40-45, before it was hard to use in pve because of the few ammo, now its downright one of the best expedition weapons
Hey Mood, I personally don't think you need to rush getting a video out like this asap. Everyone can go and see the patch notes online, but it's your unique insight that matters
I get that. But it's also the issue of if people already see the patchnotes, that's one less reason to watch the video. If I can catch both reasons, I'm maximizing.
As a tradition carried over from Elden Ring, From Software shall delegate one to three nerfs per patch to the sacred Nerf Wall, a comically large dart board in Miyazaki’s office that includes a paper cutout of every unit, part and internal in Armored Core 6
Probably out of fear that they'd nerf the Zimmermans, then immediately end up with a Haldeman meta seconds later. I didn't think it needed any real changes, but the nerf was pretty light, so I'm not super bothered. There's always time to have the Haldeman get buffed later.
The earshot was not nerfed due to the massive reload time. The goal with this weapon has always been the same, dont let the opponent get a quick height advantqge on you while youre grounded.
Looks like they did a pretty decent job for balancing by making a bunch of the weapons overtuned then bringing them in line. The obviously weak weapons got buffed as well and even just having nore ammo for pve means that much more anmo to have fun with. Love it.
Please take the time to make "non-melee" builds on your channel as well, since it is you and your style that is the most interesting to me. I think it will be fun no matter what builds you create when putting your spin on them.
Explosive thrower buff is fun, reverse joint kick into explosive thrower does a ton of stagger and with the new 3 second reload time it pretty spamable. With the bazooka/grenade launcher buffs you can make a pretty fun pseudo-melee build out of it.
Look i understand pvp, but..... theneedle was the critical weapon to deal with clk240, now that weapon is ineffective, how does fromsoft fix this, and to those who say im using a clutch weapon, for my play style the needle was a key component for kill biulds
Don't know why no one uses the bomb thrower. The thing hits hard, deals high stagger, and covers a wide area... the charge is useless but still it's not a bad weapon
You know what else hits hard, deals high stagger, and covers a wide area? The laser blade and coral oscillator. The explosive thrower isn't useless but its competition is really stiff.
The music in this video is a bit too loud, making it difficult to understand your words. Still though, mad props for getting this video out so quickly. Those last 8 hours musta been a real slugfest.
Out of sheer curiosity and no disrespect but why would something like this take upwards of 8 hours to trim? I know nothing of editing and things of the sort so it caught my interest when I heard you mention that. from my pov that it seems it wouldn’t be that difficult? Again, I mean no disrespect and I am asking for knowledge.
My main problem is that I write a script and read off it. I also read one line, put it in, then read another line, and tie them together to make it seamless. Along with screenshot every weapon and every patch note, then tie them all together, time it well for comedic effect, change all the music, etc. It's not difficult per say, it's just very tedious.
You’ve been missing out. On the first week of release it was so much fun going lobby to lobby sweeping everybody who has double zimms in my non meta builds (I love my ransetsus too much)
the aurora light wave cannon is one of the coolest weapons in the game. it deserves faster lockon, slightly more ammo, and even more improved dmg from the firearm spec generators imo. ill take it though, its way better than it was.
Idk about the Terminal Armor buff not being enough. It went from 2 seconds to a full 5. In a game as fast paced as Armored Core, 5 seconds of what is functionally invincibility seems really strong.
2 second has been enough for me to win matches and kill bosses on my first run, 5 seconds now seems like a bit of a stretch. It’s meant to catch you, if your opponent now has low AP they’re screwed when they trigger it. Though it was quite boring seeing people just use pulse armour and assault armour
@@arcturus960 I agree where you're coming from, and while I do think 3.5 to 4 seconds would be more appropriate... I'm still not that worried about it. It being balanced out by only having 1 AP plus the usual "health bar deleters" being nerfed does reduce the odds of getting a win for using it unless the opponent has like 1,000-1,500 AP and if you get can take out an opponent at that range I think thats fair.
Like every change except coral launcher nerf. Weapon was incredibly easy to avoid, so it being insanely punishing if it did connect was what made it worth running. Depending on the intensity of the nerf, can’t imagine the weapon will be worth the slot anymore. Also not sure how I feel about the Light weight AC changes. As someone who prefers close range bruiser styles, already have a hard enough time dealing with light weights who’s entire build consist of running away while throwing poke damage until I eventually die. These changes I feel will just make that already insanely obnoxious play style even worse.
Of all the thing that got nerfed and buffed Nebula is oppresive and yeah i aggre its more Netcode issue rather than weapon itself Stun Needle is mad broken but dont forget Electric Discharge is also a bonus problem Zimmerman is Zimmerman I dont understand Haldeman nerf since Zimmer still has more effective range than Haldeman Earshot is hilariously least oppresive than it looks because 12 second reload is WAY too long to make it as oppresive as Nebula Songbirds is just lol lmao its the worst GL for PvP and now its even worse because it was too strong for PvE Harris is now REALLY good, it was allready a good ass Linear but now you can play a Medium Weight build that hits like a truck Trueno Nerf is deffinitly awful Vs Lightweight now but Vs Heavies AS a Lightweight its still a devastating weapon, i honestly think Trueno and Plasma Thrower are Anti weight specific weapon with Trueno being Anti Heavies while Plasma Thrower is more Anti Light
Wait... They nerfed the cap of tetra legs ap.... But did nothing to solve the kick spam? So basically you need to do less damage to kill them, but you cant do any damage still 😂
They did a few things to reduce the kick cancer. Or whatever significant advantages tetra users had. 1) The range of the kick 2) Overall boost speed depending on your weight, most tetra builds are quite heavy 3) AB dmg and stagger reduction has been reduced. Meaning they can’t beeline AB to u with no consequences, top of with the tetra reduced AP, means they really need to dodge and plan carefully how to close in the distance. 4) EN consumption increased, they can’t stay in the air almost all the time to spam missiles. This means if u are playing a lightweight build and u are playing it proper dodging and all. You should do better against them this patch.
Zimmerman are still good but now one wont get the easy staggers, it will require to track more your target. Songbirds are also still good but now are the lightweight option compared to the other grenade launchers without packing the same punch. They pretty much reduced the cheese strategies for PVP and PVE.
@@CodenameMood Is it still very good in PvE/Arena, or is it just 'ok' now? That's what important to me, since I don't play PvP due to how bad my internet connection is, or I just better of giving up on it, and use other weapons.
