Ayyyeee. 37 years old here. I had these when I was 13! I thought I was so cool. When they wore out I cut the logo off and glued it to my school backpack haha
Yep, I grew up playing futbol in the 90's when all boots where made of Kangaroo leather. These Lotto Stadio legendary classics along with Copa Mundial, Diadora Brasil, and Umbro Speciali.
I played football from little boy to an adult. From Junior HS to All Marine Corps and Pasco United FSSL. The Lotto and Adidas Copa Mundial protects your feet more. The new soccer cleats so light and made with composite materials. Having had two ankle surgeries I love these cleats with my go to Copa Mundial cleats. I love Kangaroo cleats they just feel so much better.
Total nostalgia!!!! I had to order a pair of these when I saw them. Memories of my club and high school playing days in the 90s came flooding back. All Lotto needs to do now is make a Futura re-issue!
Absolute classics! These were my grade school boots. I use to buy a new pair each season. I use to tell my mom that as soon as the small texturing on the tip of the studs wore off, it was time for a new pair. 😂 These boots were the start of my problem as a kangaroo leather snob. Would def buy these if they didn't cost over $200. 🤦
Great review.I had this lotto when I was 12 years old.A lot of best player back in 90s and early in 00s wearing lotto and diadora.2 of the most iconic brands in Italy.
good times, i remember i had these boots back in the day i also had the Lotto "In Sheva" which as the name implies were the ones Shevchenko wore around 2005, i was a Shevchenko fanboy back then and an AC Milan fan, sadly Sheva left not too long after that lol.
That looks gorgeous. Still remember seeing Cafu wearing a black & green Lotto and looks cool on the pitch. BTW, you should return it back, maybe those hole is just too big for that small rivet and it fell off along the way 😂
@@MjolnirMarks van basten, gullit, rijkaard, anchelloti, maldini, baresi...coached by arrigo sacchi, playing against maradona's napoli....those were the days 😀
I’ve always been a fan of classic leather boots - in middle school I actually had a pair of Lotto leather cleats (pretty sure they were Stadios). Just had a trip down memory lane :,)
These are definitely up there with adidas copa Mundial,Predator,Nike tiempo, mercurial, mizuno Morelia and Diadora Brasil as one of the most iconic boots ever
Getting back into the beautiful game. Not the player I was but I'm still young and want to enjoy it. These boots bring back memories. I had a pair. Lovely.
I have a pair of those and they fit beautifully, they look good and feel better. My dad had a pair of stadios and now i have some and they are the best cleets i have ever worn.
I don’t and never have played soccer/football but I love these videos and how serious you get about cleats/boots👍 I wish somebody on RU-vid could get this detailed about Rugby boots. Well done.
The texture on the studs are there for grip when walking on concrete, especailly when wet, Also for grip on the tiles in the locker room. At least I think thats the reason.
There are some soccer shoes that are definitely icons in the history of the sport. The looks are classic and the durability superb. Lotto Stadio if one of them and reminds me a lot of good players in the late 80's and early 90's. Good video.
couldn’t agree more, I’m 16 and people ALWAYS poke fun at Puma Kings. I think they look great and I love them, not too mention how comfy they are. People say they are not the best boots, too heavy, too clunky, etc. but it’s all about the magic in the feet.
ArsenalFan jbrx puma kings were good enough for Maradona and Pele if you like them they fit will and are what you like then they are a great boot. It’s not the boot it’s the foot in the boot. ( personally I find many of the modern boots especially those classified as speed boots have Taken the lightness and thinness too far, I was a Adidas Copa Mundial fan for many many years (I’m 55 and still play 3 times a week) BUT I switched to predator line in the 1990s but the more recent models have made me look back to copas as they no longer make leather predators. ( last ones were the Beckham /Zidan models) you should look at the new Puma Kings then kept the everything that was good about the original but updated the sole plate to a modern design.
damn I remember watching Serie A in the 90's and every player was wearing these or Diadora. And they used to fold the tongue way down so it would flap around. These, the Diadora Brasil and Mizuno Morelia are excellent boots, best out there in terms of leather feel.

Would you kindly review one of the offerings from the Uno Zero brand? They are Italian. People say they are very comfortable with no stud pressure. This may be the voice of an old man whose performance miles are long behind him, but comfort underfoot is meaning more and more to me. Thanks for everything you do in this space. I really enjoy the videos.
I recently got the Lotto 300 FG White/Gold and damn those cleats are nice. Idk why but I get mad Maldini/Milan - Totti/Roma vibes when I wear 'em... Old school Serie A, whew what a time
best what i have.....now i have adidas Predator Edge + SG,but when is dry i play with lotto....i love it....i find new 20 years old and i buyed instant..... great hand made boots
Legen wait a minute dary, I worn Lotto Stadio when I was 16 in 1994,and I remembered that they were the best, with Copa Mundial and Puma King. Before the Adidas Predator Touch area began in 1996, those are still my favorite of all the Time. When I saw "The Legendary" Lotto Stadio remake made in Italy, I bought 3. They are almost the same like in 1994 but a little more modern Sohle. In 1994 the Sohle was like thinner Copa Mundial.
Best boot I ever wore during my playing days once I found them (late 80s-late 00s). Lite for their time, great feel and touch dribbling and shooting, durable, and incredibly comfortable. Lotto Stadio moulded studs all black except the green sole and logos. We use to take the logos off to black out the uppers. Classic boot that looked silky smooth. The clown boots of the last 15 years are an abomination to shoes in general. Even the tried and true Copa is better than the plastic boots of today.
I got a pair of Stadio's in 1990. I wore those till they completely separated. I loved the look of them so much I took my halfway worn out pair with me to europe (I'm from U.S.) just to look cool. My Copa's were in much better condition, but I was wearing these even though I was slipping in the field, just because I love the style of them. *The 1990 world cup was in Italy
I wish I could still play in the college football team, I love leather boots and I just saw a model here in México from Concord brand. You should check them out. They kinda copy big brands but the S185xb leather boots look decent.
Such a shame I love the traditional style boots (Copas, Stadios, Diadora Brazil’s) but I have such narrow feet I need them to fit like Mercs. Beautiful boot
Do you have a pair of the Lotto Vento in either the same black/lime green colorway or the gold colorway made for Cafu? If so, please do a retro review of them. It would be a great history lesson on what Lotto tried to do to mix tradition and what was modern tech at the time. The one of a kind silhouette, square/conical stud pattern, and “one touch coating” on premium kangaroo leather was awesome. I think it was Lotto’s best boot that mixed tradition and tech; more interesting than the Stadio, but not as wild as the OG Zhero Gravity. The Cafu gold colorway is right up there with the Zidane gold predator colorway in my opinion.
Sorry to be a naysayer, but I had those and the toe cap would become detached the first time one dragged their toe or kicked up some turf due to the lack of toe tacks. Softest kangaroo leather I ever used, though.
Omg!!!..i started playing goalkeeper back in 1992...the synthetic version was my first boots due to comfort...diadora and copa all the way after that...lotto had one issue at the toe ripping from the sole...damn soft both though leather or synthetic. So soft you had to buy them 2 (!!!) Sizes smaller
ah they bring me back to a world cup of ´94 and ´98 with these paired with "short" sleeve jersey that would reach way below the elbow and would look like it was 3 size too big
How do they fit? I’m wanting to get this specific pair to honor my mom who passed away, because she got me a pair of black leather lotto cleats from a garage sale when I was a kid. They were my first ever pair. I currently wear the mizuno Morelia 2s in a size 10 and they fit perfect
