You have just diluted the atrocities committed in true systematic genocides by your continual use of that word. I was in Cambodia in 89/90 and was told in detail through interpreters what happened and those stories will live with me forever. This war should not have started and there are probable war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by both sides. Based on the size of Gaza, its topography, the fact that the majority of the population live in a few densely populated areas and that population has no access to civil defences. Not to mentioned that Israel has access to an arsenal of heavy weapons, I would say that the death toll should be considerably higher.

Maybe only if committed by Israel. Can't imagine the US supporting an ally like Germany, if it decided to commit another genocide somewhere. But Israel can do anything it wants because it bankrolls politicians of major parties in the US, UK et al through its well funded Israel lobby groups like AIPAC. It is all corruption.
