With the new health pool changes to the mini-event bosses and, I suspect despite not being recorded on their patch notes but they are taking SIGNIFICANTLY LONGER, the main bosses (Ragnaros/Lich King/Onyxia), it's not worth it for me to go back because I already got the mount and pets after the first hotfix got pushed through early on. Even though you can TECHNICALLY loop and repeat events/bosses, last night, it was taking the full hour per zone to do a singular event due to the bloated health pools. I had to wait 3 hours for a second Ragnaros spawn because he despawned since it went over the timer as we were fighting him! Too much health on everything!
Yeah the auto-scaling of health pools has always been problematic, and they've definitely ramped it up during the prepatch. You're often better off soloing one of the zone minibosses (stitches, hogger, etc) because they ramp up in health so quickly when people show up. I've started just doing the "kills a bunch of mobs" zone events because the mini bosses take so long.
Indeed, loving the even for the leveling is really quicker. My 62 Druid, who I was laggin on leveling.. so brought in to do these events, and managed to ding to 70 in 1.5hr play... My 60 evoker next? Maybe I should get a Horde toon up.. Dont forget to work towards the heirloom ring. Finally, we hear of anything changing with Professions.. I didnt do many Crafting orders, so took me close to the full 2 years to get my BS leveled out. P.S. Warrior always my main... BM Hunter/ Vengence DH runner ups.
Remember now the Warband bank is cross faction cross server, so you can FINALLY shuffle funds and goods easily to your horde toons! I gotz the heirloom ring for sure, but good call! Professions are changing somewhat from Dragonflight, but from what I hear, it's mostly QoL changes. But you may have just inspired Wednesday's vlog.. Which warrior? Tanks or DPS?
