There was a comedy a long time ago, "Its a mad, mad, mad world" that brought together all the comedy geniuses of its time. movies like that are either really great...or a bunch of egos destroying a movie.
The best dialogue in this movie Barney Ross : I've heard another rumor that you were bitten by a king cobra Booker : Yeah I was. But after five days of agonizing pain the cobra died. LOL man LOL, it is chuck norris
@@jaquigreenlees chuck norris got shot once the bullet is still in the hospital in critical condition when chuck norris was born he drove his mom home from the hospital
@@99mrpogi That's just a rumour. The truth is when Chuck was walking towards the statue, the statue turned away, so as to not be destroyed by Chuck looking at it.
@@r3l1csvk Yeah🤣 I remember when Sylvester Stallone said " Don't freak out" at Norris's entrance, we thought he was talking to the audience instead of Maggie.
"Don't freak out." Yeah, sorry, no can do. When Chuck walked onto the scene, I remember the Theater went nuts, some people were actually crying with joy.
I dont know why people didnt like this movie. It was never meant to be a deep meaning film or anything of the sort. Its a heartfelt letter to over the top 80s action movies. You know, when the main actors made their names known.
I think they meant the first one as a serious movie, but when they saw the response as an over-the-top, shoot-em-up, blow-em-up, flick that moviegoers really didn't take seriously, I think they wised up and decided to just have fun and use an enormous explosives budget, classic lines, and tongue-in-cheek plot to make a winner. And they did.
No we get it, just they totally screwed up the action / fighting, it’s so bad. Wasted potential with all those guys together. Wish they had a better director, imagine how awesome that would be, even if it’s just fast furious level quality
The Walker Texas Ranger music as Chuck Norris just casually and calmly stroll is hilarious. I’m not really super surprised by it but it’s still pretty funny
If only these movies could have been made 30 years ago when stallone, schwarzenegger, lundgren, willis, Van damn were all younger and buff. I know they all still had big egos then but what a movie it could have been!
Terry knows better than to use Old Spice recklessly. Its kind of like spinach to Popeye. It would have broken the film (and the Expendables franchise) in half... and he would had to step out of the screen in movie theatres worldwide, to reboot the sun and muscle flex the show back together again.
These movies are really great for action fans I know my dad used to take me to watch Van Damme Stallone Arnold movies all of them and then taking him to this one where all of them work together was nice because he was just starstruck that they were all on the big screen
Gotta love Hollywood shooting scenes. 20 men spraying with fully automatic weapons, no one gets hit. While irl you get a small gun fight a couple of blocks down, someone dies in a different city from a stray bullet.
When you make such a famous western song that when someone wants a western setting your song is the go-to song. When people don't even know what song it is, what movie it is from, who made it... but when they think of western they immediately think of YOUR song. Like how fuking genius do you have to be for that?
@@KobashifanSam Maybe, but if we think about it, then it should have been called that way in the first place because no one of them died in first, second or third Expendables movie. But, the way i see it, why they named this movies as Expendables, is because the main heroes of this movie is the people that no one likes. And that, someone just hire them to do dirty work, sending them to mission of no return, but in the end they survive because of their skills. That is why it's called Expendables, in my opinion.
The Expendables 2 will always be a classic Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins,Liam Hemsworth, Jet Li, Bruce Willis.
Most of the Chuck Norris jokes were originally Mr. T jokes at his prime. Would have been hilarious to see T in this, too, giving that famous scowl about one of the tough guy jokes directed at Chuck. 😁
When blondie steps out into plain sight, fires off a burst, and has an entire firing squad of automatic weapons fire at him... with someone only like 10 bullets hitting the background. xD
