With regards to the 'ice', I would have fired phasers in wide-beam arcs in an attempt to melt the ice. Such action might have even caused the ice to retreat. . .
Stop your bellyaching! Do you know how hard the directors, producers, cast and crew had to work to get viewers this show during the coronavirus epidemic? Just stop it!
@@aurorapaisley7453 Because I am tired of hearing negativity! If the show was crap while "heading to a decent spot," why watch it! A true compliment isn't hidden under a half insult!
@@fredrika27 im also tired of hearing negativity about this show. I love discovery and the people who are working amidst the pandemic. Most of the people who are whinning are the old dying trekkies
@@fredrika27 did you know: the shooting of the show was in january and febuary and getting people to watch a show aint hard right now since the epidemic started.
@@grigss3027 That was when the epidemic started. Filming ended, but they still had to do the editing, special effects, music, etc. under lockdown. Remember in March all airports closed in the US. It was a struggle to put new episodes together. As for people viewing, the world knows that the US isn't on lockdown of any type. If you were, there wouldn't be over 310k deaths! EUROPE is on a major lock down with enforced curfews and all schools, nonessential businesses and restaurants closed. Europe actually has time to watch Discovery whereas the US doesn't. Disco was always a hit overseas just like it is in the US. Problem is like the election that Trump refuses to say he lost, fans in the US refuse to acknowledge that Discovery is indeed well received! It appears even the haters are watching it so they can bash it!
@@andrewholden1501 Rogue One is an excellent movie, in my opinion the only Disney-era SW movie that looks, sounds and feels like a Star Wars movie. The prequel trilogy has been vindicated after the disaster that was the Disney-era trilogy. TFA was not bad, I enjoyed it, it had plenty of potential for expansion, until Rian Johnson came along and complete killed the [movie] franchise. Solo... was another tragic victim of Kathleen Kennedy's "new vision" for SW.
Its called a match cut! a cool editing trick in which you use visually similar elements to seamlessly switch scenes without it looking like youre switching scenes
