Finally, youtube recommended a low viewed video that isn't a boring let's play or the like. Great video going through the They Hunger Trilogy of mods by the way, while not aged all that well and the level desgin isn't great. I find it still certainly has charm behind it.
I know you said you mostly review games with barely any story but can you play (the original) Mafia? It's like 5 bucks on Steam and overall a pretty interesting experience
@@Skel23 and also, about Mafia 1, when you're going to play it I highly recommend you to downgrade the game to 1.0 and use the widescreen patch along with a directx wrapper, 1.0 restores eye animations to select cutscenes which makes them a lot more immersive and better overall, though with it you won't be able to use any of the remastered mods (albeit those have issues of their own) There's a video on youtube called "5 Tips for Mafia 1 players" and in the description there's a link to a patch that includes a few mods. This patch fixes everything mentioned above, though you might want to use a more recent directx wrapper and change the draw distance in the widescreen patch. You can also increase the resolution via Nvidia's resolution upscaling feature in the nvidia control panel or add anti aliasing there (don't forget to add in anisotropic filtering too, and you can disable black bar scaling in the widescreen patch so that it's pretty much nonexistent and doesn't cover up a big amount of the screen in cutscenes)
