19:13 I hope Luke can see this. According to the original novel, there was actually a pet AI dog made by Shin's dad. And this scene shows that Fido is actually somehow recombined from the AI pet dog. The novel author also described this detail in the novel. When Shin was heading to the battlefeild, the dog wanted to go with him and translated his deta into a cart robot, Fido.

When you die you have 7 minutes of brain activity left. Before you die, your live will flash before your eyes. In the ending we saw Fido's live flashing before his eyes before he died and the duration of Fido's live flashing before his eyes scene is 7 minutes

You really have to imagine the creative cruelty the team that made 86 possesses. Kill the family dog? Nah, been done a million times before. Watch the dog's life flash before its eyes THEN kill it? Now that's spicy!

6:11 There's a big explaination in the light novels. On shin's part, it's explained at many places between volume 5 and 7 if I recall well (anime covered from 1 to 3, so if they do a 2nd season, a part should be there) and for Fido, it's an extra chapter all about him. I don't want to spoil, so if they don't animate the rest of the light novel (which would break my heart, because it's so good), I really suggest reading them

You know? The field of red flowers that the came across when leaving the Republic behind is made of a flower known as the Flower of the dead... You'll see that red lilly flower in a lot of animes

The LN goes deeper into Fido and Shin's relationship and explains an even more interesting connection (and as an fyi the LN is available on youtube in audiobook form and well worth the time investment

If you thought episode 9 was a good place to end the series... yes it was, but the real end of Cour 1 comes later. However, the end of Cour 2 was an even better ending to the anime. (we need more seasons to explore the other countries!) Also... once you find out about FIDO... you will be shocked hahaa

They couldn't test on animals because it was based on communicating by language. Good job on spotting that image a lot of people miss those little details. Fun to watch smoke rise from the gears spinning with you. Lol

A lot of people misunderstand something. There is only one season, but it was seperated into three parts. Part one(ep.1-11) andtwo(ep.12-21)were completed in 2021. and part three (ep.22,23) were completed in 2022, accurately 86 days after ep.21 was shown in Japan.

I just came up with this mad... "theory?" but having been told that he could freely communicate with only his brother and mother mentally... and knowing how messed up the anime is... Fido mighy just be Shin's mom's brain "stuffed"/fed to/"uploaded to" an "AI?" to create that support robot... And yeah, I'm most likely typing nonsense, and that's for the best. :D

Fido was an artificial intelligence created by the parents of Annette and shin.. when they took shin and his family they seized all their properties including Fido and created these support robots.. ironically in the novel they explain that, if the republic does not would have taken their policy against the 86 they could have developed true unmanned units against the legion using from base to fido... thanks for the reaction🎉🎉
