The final lines of the trilogy are what shook me the most: Dancing like flames after all that I've done, I'll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire. All three songs coming back to round off the end.

Of all time? Idk. There aren't a ton of trilogies by bands. What about the Unforgiven trilogy by Metallica? Or there are some trilogies (somewhat) with Tesseract, Concealing The Fate part 1-6? Don't get me wrong. Lorna Shore did a great job with these 3 songs, AND I love Lorna Shore and pretty much EVERY song by them present and past and probably future, but they have some competition for the best trilogy ever. But you and I can agree that their new album doesn't have a bad song on it.

The whole album is a masterpiece. The Pain Remains trilogy is a classic masterpiece. This is the only deathcore band that legitimately made me cry mostly in part one. My favorite deathcore band right now. The trilogy is so amazingly done. 🤘🤘

At the very end, I couldn't help but notice the very effective use of colors to tell the story. Even after her death, she continued to live in his memories, forever bathed in golden light and warm tones. After his failed attempt to rejoin her, he managed to figure out that in order to return to her he had to enter that realm of golden light, by way of a sea of fire; and that sea of fire indeed shares many colors and hues with the realm of gold she "lives" in. In his final moments, we see that he was reunited with his soul mate and at least for a moment (or perhaps forever more?) he was able to dwell with her in that golden land of bliss. That sea of fire transported him to that golden realm, whether it was real or only imagined, it didn't matter to him in his final living moments. Indeed, every time I watch this part of the trilogy I always feel like he's reunited with her. Instead of a memory it feels like they're doing something new for the first time again. I always felt that the dichotomy of the blue and yellow filters-especially in Dancing like Flames-was so very effective in telling us the emotions of the moments; that indeed was excellent storytelling. However, I didn't think that contrast would be used so expertly and so beautifully in Sea of Fire; they used that contrast to help us feel certain emotions, but then that contrast became a more direct method of storytelling in the end. Well, that's my interpretation, anyhow. As other reactors have pointed out, there are definitely more than a few interpretations of exactly what's going on in all three videos and what they mean as a whole. I wouldn't have thought there'd be so many discussions of this nature in this kind of music; that's pretty amazing, really. Will Ramos set out to have people feel emotions other than the ones more typically associated with death core, and he absolutely succeeded with that!

no matter how many reactions pop up and I watch, how many times i watch these videos, i fucking cry every single time. I haven been listening to deathcore since it first came into the scene and have never cried to any goddamn songs until Lorna Shore came along with this tril.

I’ve watched so many reactions to this trilogy and all have the same thing in common, the emotion and response. Yours is different though because of your story as you explain it at the start. I don’t know you but I’m glad you’re still here because your reactions are top notch, Remi is a chonky cutie and it’s so nice to see genuine emotion coming from such a wonderful human being.

How could you make something more sad than death? Survive death, so you just imprison yourself within the flames to die 100%, because your soul has aready dead and you nothing just an empty body. This emptiness keeps burning in the hole inside so you need the actual element and become one with it. After sorrow and misery you feel pure hatred against living. Man.. I love these musicians how perfectly they put this song together. They realy feel the language of music.

I was taking pictures in front of the stage, in front of the pit by security. First three songs. The teeny tiny little blonde who had to stand up on the metal stands to get her shots 😂 I basically hung out on the right side of the venue in my little corner. That’s my go-to spot bc I can see the stage when everyone else is much taller than I am. The last two songs, I ventured upstairs.

Actually the lyrics came from the guitarist Adam Da Micco. And was the creator of this trilogy. So there is a bit of a misconception that vocalist do "all the lyrics". Not true at all. Adam is one hell of a guy.
