This is why I love Granger. Man loves his country as much as he loves entertaining us.

Great museum...went there with my parents and again with the scouts. My father was a combat vet in the South Pacific campaign on Tinia, Siapan and Iwo Jima. He was in the 20th Air Force, 7th Army Air Corp, 414 Fighter/Bomber Group, 413 F/B Squadron. They flew the P-47 Thunderbolts.

I would buy a tshirt that says “YeeYee Dropping Bombs Since 1944”

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ My father fixed F-104's coming out of Vietnam on Okinawa Japan. He later joined the Confederate Air Force when it was out of Harlingen Texas. Going there every year as a youth is one of my favorite memories. He was a lifetime member. He worked as an MP for the planes that the U.S. Air Force would bring in for the shows down there. Every year he would take a ride in FIFI, the B-29 that the CAF owns. He would sometimes ride in it during the reenactments they do. I sometimes got to go behind the ropes to see some of the newer planes and sit in them and the older ones. To this day, the memories I have of those planes can bring wetness to my eyes. Thanks for showing these old planes.

My Grandpa was in WWII also. He was a navigator bombardier on a B17 in Germany. I had the privilege of going to his bomber reunion in Kansas as a kid...I was just in awe over all the amazing soldiers that fought so hard. I saw many without limbs, one with his head massively caved in. I’m just so grateful I was able to shake hands with so many people who gave EVERYTHING for us. Love Love Love this video.

I love aviation. when I was just a young boy my dad took me there little did we know Air Force one was retired that day and we were the first ones to walk through it and we got interviewed on the news! Such a cool memory.

Granger I live in Dayton Ohio, have been to the Air Force Museum too. My father-in-law flew in WW2 also. I'm so glad you were here and enjoyed yourself. I hope you come back.

Been there many times over the years with my kids!! You need to take your fam sometime...I have many family members who have served...the latest is my son...Thankful for ALL who have served in our country...You must have had a private tour cause that place is always packed with visitors...tfs💕👍😎

My family went there in 2015, amazing place, we didn’t have enough time to see it all. My late father was a retired Air Force Officer, and a veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He told some awesome stories. God Bless the men and women who have kept, and continue to keep us safe. 🇺🇸

Both my Grandfather & Dad worked in Aviation. Both served in the military, my Grandfather fought in the Korean war. His eyes were not good enough to make it to fly in the air force unfortunately, but after the military he got himself a little plane and he use to take us up in it when we were kids. He worked for Hughes Aircraft and was one of the head guys there, from my understanding had a hand in building satellites along with other things. He was really really smart. My dad still works in aviation testing parts that go in Boeing jets. It's pretty cool. Great episode Granger! I love how you love this stuff and have such a great memory. I am completely obsessed with WW1. My great uncle served in the New York State Army National Guard , 107th Infantry, 27th Division, Company F. In 1918 at the age of 20 he fought in the trenches in France. He was gassed and six weeks later lost his right arm in the Somme Offensive which was an attempt to pierce the Hindenburg Line. His Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster and all other medals have been lost over the years. After much research and persistence, the Army issued replacements of everything, including his Purple Heart. Ironically, I just received them this past week. You can now Rest In Peace, Uncle Arthur. One more thing, his mother set out at 11:30 at night (without her husband’s knowledge) and walked ten miles by lantern light to see her son and other “Lads” off to war at the train station. This was in 1918 in very rural Upstate NY. A true testament of a mother’s love.

I freaking love this video! I was in the Air Force and my Dad's favorite plane was the B-17 because his Dad flew on one, and he loved the movie Memphis Belle and had a plethora of knowledge on the history of all this history. It almost felt like I was listing to my Dad again! Thanks Granger!

Granger have you ever taken your kids to see the Confederate Air Force shows down in San Antonio. You love this country as much as I do. Daddy was in the Air Force and I was so blessed to know The Blue Angels when I was young. My best childhood friends dad was out at Bergstrom at the same time Daddy was and he was a member of The Confederate Air Force. They are amazing and it is a fantastic family outing. My grandpaw served in the British Navy during World war 2, he was on board the H.M.S Ark Royal....it was an aircraft carrier and part of the task Force assigned to destroy the German Bismarck. While their mission was successful following the loss of the British flagship H.M.S Hood at the hands of the Bismarck. My Grandpaw never would speak of the mission, it was a traumatic experience he always lived with but never shared

That place is on my bucket list! So cool, my great grandpa flew a P-38 lighting in WWII and my grandpa flew an F4 phantom in Vietnam, I love that you appreciate and love this country as much as I do! Yeeyee

Granger that was a awesome video. Next time you come to Delaware to play you will need to check out the Dover Air Force Museum. It doesn't have the old planes but it has some other types. It's pretty bad ass. And if you want to see the old planes like your grand daddy's time and see them fly, check out the air show at Toughkenamen PA. It's around August and it's pretty amazing to have a B12 fly right over your head. And I guarantee you will cry. YEE YEE!!
