Holistic experience on the McLaren. When you see the blue Porache inside the workshop it sparks visual interest...these're irresistible selection....Good job Dan....regards from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia...
Thats a nice spec.... the orange is gorgeous..... Congrats to Richard on the Porsche acquisition, beautiful color and exhaust sounds beefy, love it !!! Love how The Howard filled up with amazing cars so quickly...awesome !! Cheers !!!
I like both your new acquisitions. The blue on the Porsche looks really cool (Please don't tell Adam I said so) The 650 needs work but it's not a total loss
Impressed with how many cars you've already turned. Looks like it's going well. Any updates on the dealership building and the fuel problem on the 575 ?
This is often a problem when you change bad clamps in a system it finds the next weakest one and this one did exactly that! Also Josh - not sure I have seen him before - but seems like a mechanically switched on dude.
I would get the paint cleaned up with a clay bar, then PPF the areas that you plan on doing and paint correct the rest if you must. I do full XPEL wrap on all my cars and the film hides just about 90% of swirl marks and such. Ceramic coating to be applied at the very end over the PPF. Still a great looking car and seems in good condition. GLWTS
The 650 is supported in the Chinese aftermarket heavily. At a certain price for the right person, its not that bad of a deal. Of course the engine and the trans are not supported, but all carbon is as well as Titanium exhaust upgrades.
You guys essentially did a PPI on it, I don't think Manheim can go that far. I think they look at the mileage, overall condition based on the eye, really a cosmetics based inspection and noting nothing obvious in terms of visual leaks or dash lights on the mechanical side. Small weeps on the dampers or weeps/leaks that require body panel removal or air filter checks is likely never going to happen from an auction house. They should however note how their rating system is determined and what it's actually based on. That being said, you guys can complain and likely get a discount back, definitely fight them on this since they need to up their game or disclose what they are really doing.
A Manheim rating is a walk around the car/interior/service books/mileage. It's allocated about 15 minutes per car and I doubt they would have put it up on a hoist to check it out.
If the car was grossly misrepresented you can get money back from the auction house or return it (to my knowledge). However, Their ratings aren't full on PPI's. I don't think they are inspecting for any leaks that aren't obviously creating puddles under the car, or checking mechanical components in general beyond "runs and drives". Same for the underbody panels. I don't think those are included in condition reports (at least any i've seen).
I love how upfront n honest Dan is....if I could I ever afford a car like this. I'd be very comfortable dealing with Dan.....hey. A new shirt. DEALING WITH DAN.....ALL EXOTIC NEEDS!!!!!! CATCHY PHRASE ....FEEL FREE TO USE IT 😂. LOVE THE CONTENT....
Dan, you know the 570S‘s are the most mechanically simple of the brand. Sway bars and regular shocks, pretty basic for what they are (for a supercar). Are you planning on looking into them?
uh Dan does not make sense you said " IF you clay bar you HAVE to do paint correction" which IME is completely untrue! a clay bar removes imperfections . we use Bilt hamber clay fr UK. it is SO pure you do not even need a lubricant other than plain water ! ( they actually have their own clay mine ! ) It is available in S, M, H compounds .
I do like the new paint on Porches they are very different from the rest. Everyone else tries those metallic paints or multicolor blends that look different in day light or night. The Porch paints look so colorful I like that it docent really shine or reflect light it just absorbs everything. I also like the pastel tones to their new cars. Ferrari is my favorite manufacturers but they have the worst paint shop of the group. Lambo broke out of the pack long ago and looks like Porche is next. I wish Ferrari had the custom shop options of Lambo.
Dude musta let his wife drive that car ALOT , never seen so Many scrapes on Carbon Fiber Front Splitter , haha Just Kidding😁 , Orange does looks Fantastic 🧡
Incoming Mcturd project? :D If it isn´t sold quick you guys plan on working on it? Shame the auction conducters lied to you so blatantly. I mean that´s no perfect condition at all. I´m starting to think what you said about they cataloging the car as "perfect condition" because of the shiny orange paint is veeeery close to reality... Anyhow, have fun with it and enjoy! :)
OMG, NEWS ALERT!!! A CAR DEALER LIED. are you going to sue or return the car OR join the rest of us and be cautious about lying car dealers.......wait your a car dealer now.......so now we need to doubt what you say going forward too
