@@LocalChaos-8217 Crowfeather’s dad is Deadfoot, he was killed in arc 1. So, no, Crowfeather is just a trash with his children :D

@@LocalChaos-8217deadfoot was deputy at the time crow was a kit (he died before crow became an apprentice) but he was probably absent and less involved because of his responsibilities so it could be just that crow doesn’t really have a ‘dad’ to base his behaviour off thats why he is so awful?

Both Night and Crow were bad parents tbh. Crow neglected and didn’t pay much attention to breeze and out of anger night convinced him that crow hated him

@@crowvee Nightcloud 'manipulating' breeze is never implied or shown in the books, crowfeather says that himself bc he can't own up to the responsibility of his own actions. The dark forest were manipulating Breezepelt, not Nightcloud- but Crowfeather knew little to nothing about them so if he's going to point fingers its gonna be at Nightcloud. Nightcloud is actually a responsible parent and we see her actually correct breezes bad behaviors (being rude to jayfeather) several times without force, meanwhile if breeze did anything crowfeather doesnt like he puts him down or literally hits him. Its only after the secret is revealed that she gets particularly hostile, and that's because Crowfeather literally lied and said Leafpool means nothing to him at a public gathering but when it comes down to it he clearly is not over her and he does nothing to help their son while hes literally getting beaten to death by Lionblaze (and he only jumps in after Leafpool tried to break up the fight).

So you’re just taking Crowfeather’s word and running with it, despite all of Nightcloud’s screen time showing that she is a normal mom who cares about her son? Crowfeather hit Breezepelt, belittles him, and ignores him. His behavior towards him made Breezepelt vulnerable to the Dark Forest’s manipulation. Crowfeather IS a bad dad. Canonically, the three even say so.

@@RockslideTreeClan Thank you for this comment I swear. I am so sick of people saying Nightcloud turned Breezepelt against Crowfeather when Crowfeather did that himself through his own actions. And people just believed him after he blamed his wife for it.
