@@StrawHatCentral funny thing is I would argue the game itself is not bad. There are so many interesting gameplay opportunities in the combat itself. Every match at higher level play is essentially a chess match with the other players. In many ways it really emulates what JJK battles are in the manga and anime. Just way slower paced. What's here is actually really good at its core just not refined. I truly believe the game itself is good, but just too different and technical for the majority of players who are used to a casual Storm style arena fighter. There's nothing wrong with Storm's style mind you, it's just a breath of fresh air to have a new kind of arena fighter

It banks on the fandom wanting to play as these characters and they do enough to make sequels. 3. Regardless if a fighting game would bring in more money they dont want the hassle of dealing with making a fighting game. They were willing to do it with dbz because its their most profitable ip and would risk it. Even with fighterz popularity you still dont see them making a sequel because it was probably a one time thing.

It’s pretty fun definitely with a duo to either play for fun or be serious. PvE co-op can be enjoyable when it gets harder.

It was a gg I already hate the game I mean when you see some fancy moves, team fights and a character running and hitting, I see the op classic go to two characters to dominate matches without challenge, bad outdated mechanics, trash graphics, clunky gameplay with 0 possibility to really combo and a 1v1 dead and pointless fights. Little + the story mode is a shame give, the license to Cyberconnect.

Honestly I don't think anyone other than dragon ball fans care about sparking zero. Really haven't seen anyone but that fanbase be hype about it. That makes sense given the genre though.

@@yokumob It doesn't look polished but the gameplay itself brings more variety than FighterZ or CC2 ever did. I agree with the fact that it probably LOOKS worse than those but I don't think graphics make a game better. My friend had storm connections and I watched his gameplay, it was a mess. The only decent CC2 game was demon slayer imo but they ruined it by making the balancing shit. FighterZ around season 2 to 3 before gogeta was alright, then it got shit. Every character is stupid broken and matches seem to be going based on luck. I've noticed a pattern of Arcsys making toxic mechanics very often, there is some in GG, many in FighterZ and there were some even back in kill LA kill if. There's that and the fact that 2d fighting games feel like reskins of each other, there will never be enough variety for me to buy a 2D fighter unless they actually start trying to make the gameplay different instead of making the graphics HD. I don't wanna continue yapping tho that's all ☠️

In the end it goes to your personal taste, i prefer a cool flashy animation over a balanced experience, i dont care for meta stuff i just play the game with the characters that i have fun with and learn how to counter the problematics one. Maybe if i actually play instead of watch the game is better than it looks, but ima wait for a 30 dollar sale or smth like that.

You can turn off the guide in settings. The map is there to show you who’s locked on to you and obviously location of players. Not that I use it enough.

It released only like a month ago so I think there will probably be improvements soon.
