I remember watching it when i was in school...the bond between Ram and Seeta was shown so very beautifully here..I remember smiling while seeing the 'Shivdhanush' scene..such a short scene but ohh how gorgeous it was💖✨ and I remember they showed the place where Ravan was killed and his body fell like a huge mountain, trees and grasses grew over it showing the revival of life!so glad to see this masterpiece being love now🌺

I watched this Ramayana Animated Series and this was amazing 🤩 But one more thing is that this Was Almost Years Of Research with Japanese Creators ( Yugo Sako,Krishna Shah,Koichi Saski )and Indians and yes The Hindi Dubbed was Given by All Famous Indians Actor like The Legendry Ram was Shree Arun Govil ji, The Most Iconic Villian Hindi Voice Dubbed by Amrish Puri and Ofcourse The Narrator was Shatrughan Sinha. My All time Favourite 💞☺️ Movies Ever I was amazed by this that masterpiece was created at 1992 you guys can ever imagine how's the big deal was that.❤

I am sorry, but this is wrong. I dont know about Broly, but i know the rest are definitely wrong. You must be finding similarities, but that does not mean it is inspired from a certain something. First of all, Indian and Japanese culture, especially in the mythology aspect, has a lot of similarities. Goku was inspired by Sun Wukong, a chinese epic, which was inspired from Hanuman. Demon Slayer or any of it characters do not relate to ramayana whatsoever. It is more inspired from the unique japanese culture not related to the hindu epic and another manga and anime series called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. A better example would be Beserk, which directly shows Indian culture in a wonderful way. An lastly, Naruto. The character Naruto wasnt inspired from Hind culture but the system of Chakra and the name Indra etc. were surely inspired.

The anime movie was 2hr 50 min i think. Then some scenes got nonsensically deleted and then the movie got banned. And it's a shame coz they did such a good job and research, the movie shouldn't have been banned. Maybe the reasons I was told aren't accurate so, can anyone clarify properly?

It was banned by VHP because they said how can someone show Ramayan as a cartoon. Later on then govt also supported it because it was a time when babri was demolished and already violence was there and this could have added to it.

Eventually, Cartoon Network aired the movie in Hindi in 2001-2003 during a new government in India. The government cited the 1992 Ram Mandir case as the reason for banning the movie. It is possible that the TV airing was also delayed because of this.

Ramayana(Anime) has more accurate Sita's abduction(Haran) as written in Valmiki Ramayana. Accn to that,Ravan grabbed Sita Mata instead of what they've shown in Adipurush.But yeah you are right Adipurush's way is looking more cooler than Anime(particularly/only that scene*) 🙂

Watched Ramayana anime 20 years back on Cartoon Network and luckily on my birthday. Still an unforgettable and OG Ramayan movie. The sanjeevani booti "Kund" felt like rip off of Ra's al Ghul's Lazarus pit. Any other references anybody can think of?

What i mean to say was, originally the sanjeevani booti extracts were poured in lord Laxman's mouth, while here they show him arising out of the pit filled with sanjeevani extract's, rather than him it. With that green glowing liquid, it looks similar to Lazarus pit scene from DC series and animated movies.

The Anime did its best to replicate the same and even the Ramayan Tele serial portrayed it the best. But Adipurush is the worst of it all. The Rudraksha blowing biceps and all man.... The two lead characters "Ram" and "Laxman" shared good chemistry and bond as brothers. The female lead looks pretty in a saree and had great chemistry with "Ram". Villain's look in the second half was odd. Overall "Main Hoon Na" was a full on paisa vasool movie

1st Ramayana: The legend of prince Ram 2nd Hanuman (2005) anime these were the two best movies I had watched which depicts the saga completely In hanuman they showed the whole sugriv and bali battle since Hanuman was working for sugriv at that time

Actually this 1992 anime is also not authentic. In fact it’s filled with artistic liberties but the best thing about this was that it was made with utmost respect and care which was translated in to the great experience.

I recently rewatched Ramayana anime movie and have to say it still holds today for best representation of this Epic in given time frame but it felt quite fast paced and missed quite alot of story. I wish they would make a full anime series or atleast a animated trilogy on it as I felt a single movie can't really do justice to epic and beautiful story of Ramayana.

Ramanand Sagar ji ki Ramayan me bhi bohot flaws the(storywise) but still it feeks so divine, because of the Shraddha-Bhaav of it’s makers!❤❤ Adipurush feels so trash!
