The project that I'd like to see you do is to make game boards & pieces out of that awesome supply of off cuts that you're hoarding. A chess/checkers set, a backgammon set, a cribbage board, etc. Storage boxes for the various game sets... Maybe even a gaming table. It's a light hearted recreational theme. And... it uses those beautiful off cuts!
One of the best tools you have in your shop is Scott. He is awesome because he will say what he is thinking regardless of his job lol. Love ya work Scott.
I think the #1 thing I've learned from Cam is fixing mistakes in a way that nobody will ever notice...I dropped a square table leg, chipped the corner and fixed it with the same grain cutoff today based on his techniques 🙌
I think majority of us are in the same boat😂 at this point it aint really even bout the woodworking. If Cam starts doing welding etc it would be just as entertaining and interesting to watch
I have no preference for future projects but I do like these all wood pieces. This turned out beautiful. I love the feet, birds are great. Looks like a dinosaur foot is a compliment really.
I love it! Sometimes the best projects are the ones you just wing. That is such a nice little table, the figure is amazing! Nice to see you trying different styles and types of furniture.
My dad was a woodworker for a living. 90% of what he did was built ins. Home offices, big TV units back when tube TVs were a thing. Now it’s all fireplace surround built ins. I didn’t follow him into the trades but always had to help when I was in school. When I started doing more diy stuff to my house he bought me 2 tools - festool track saw and a domino. Told me I would use them all the time. He’s right, 2 of my most used. He’s. A festool shop and he’s worn those things out. He’s on number 2 or 3 of each. Domino is an amazing tool
The table turned out really nice! Especially the fact that it's all from scrap wood makes it all that much more appealing. PS: It does look like a bird foot, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. The project I would like to see you do is to use pallet or cheap wood and make a tiered wooden plant stand, for small house plants, and give it that finish you do which makes all your pieces works of art!
you commenting about the treehouse made me think about my own treehouse, which has me thinking that you should make something that brings people back to their childhood. no specifics yet, but ill follow up later. i love your work and am trying to start woodworking myself, but im just a kid. thanks!!!
I love your work and how much time and care you put in your projects! I feel like when you get hate comments, it's because some people just have a need to tear people down.
Watching a new video from you is definitely a great way to end the week. I'd love to see another project where you combine many smaller pieces of wood into something larger.
I'm a power carver and I love it. I enjoy not only the craftsmanship but the artistry. As far as other comments, the best piece of advice I ever got was what anyone else thinks was none of my business!!😅
A *unique* coffee table. Bonus points for hidden storage! FWIW: My ex husband was into woodworking and made us some nice custom pieces including a full kitchen remodel. I personally don't do woodworking but I admire your craftsmanship and effort.
Something small and utilitarian… you have such a beautiful way with attractive wood - what might you do with a functional piece. Not furniture, something small and usable; tea caddy, knife box, remote control caddy… Honestly - doesn’t really matter because you content and commentary are EVERYTHING!
Watch all the way through and I have no suggestions, but LOVE your videos. I don't have your talent and it is very enjoyable watching a skilled craftsman.
I think the table is beautiful. The figuring is divine! The foot suits it, not overdone and well carved. You should be proud of all of your creations Cam!
Oooo that came out stunning... and i honestly love the contrast in the top and the bug hole. the plug doesnt look like a cover up but more of a secret signature. like everything is so perfect so that little imperfection is charming.
The project I would like to see next is for you to coach Scott through a project. Blacktail shop class! Seriously though, you can do whatever. I love your work!
Love the table, love the use of the scraps its hard to throw away and even after you mentioned someone thought it looked like a chicken foot i didn't see it that way. For me its a nice organic shape. Good work, good channel. Thank you.
I like this table. I think you did a nice job of the design as well as the construction. I watch your other channel, but this is my first time to watch this one. Keep it up.
Love to see you make a bed frame , it’s a personal object that you spend a lot of time in. It needs strength and toughness to last , but also soft and welcoming. Has lots of elements to think about too, side tables built in or stand alone , under bed storage or stand alone . Head board? List goes on and on. A table you eat at , a desk you work at, a bed you rest at.
I absolutely love that base. It's so pretty and it doesn't remind me of chicken feet. It more reminds me of the stem of a plant. Or something more organic like that.
Cam continues to add to his collection of farm yard themed tables we’ve had the hog table now the chicken foot. Love this guys self-effacing attitude to his work 👌🏾
The project we would like to see is anything you do, keep doing. That book cabinet was very cool. Denim stuff is cool. I watch your videos more than a few times.
New to your channel. Have given up woodworking when I moved to the Middle East. Might try to find some carving. I like your style of presentation and descriptions. Beautiful work. Keep it up.
I'd love to see more denim projects. Also love the way the Dominos came out on the underside. The little crosshairs they created added a cool touch. Keep up the great work!
I agree so much about the higher grit sanding. I almost always go up to the 300s or 400 grit & have never had issues with finish adhering...and it makes a huge difference in the look and feel of some woods.
The project I'd like to see you do is any of them I love watching your channel and I'd love to have that table in my house keep up the great work can't wait to see more
I’d like to see you make an old fashioned revolving book case. I love all your videos and I am amazed at how much physical effort goes into your projects. When you casually mention how you spent 6 more hours sanding that table before applying the finish I always shake my head. There’s no way I could do that. I don’t have that much patience or strength. Keep up the good work!
Me gustaría ver una mesa con epoxi que brilla en la obscuridad, vi a otro carpintero hacerla y me sorprendió mucho... Sos crack Cam!!! Quedó genial!!! Abrazos y éxitos desde Argentina!!! 💪💪💪🙌🙌
