Gyarados is due for a signature move. Just a flying type version of outrage/thrash it fits his lore and gives him a strong physical flying move with a drawback
The fact that Gyarados gets Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Temper Flare, Thunderbolt and Thunder but not a decent Physical Flying type STAB move is beyond me
It wouldnt make sense for it to get the current good physical flying type attacks simce most of them are related to birds, like brave bird, drill peck, dual wingbeat, etc. The only ones it could get would be like bounce or fly which arent good, aerial ace is meh, acrobatics could make sense but it would need to not hold an item, and it certainly isnt getting dragon ascent... so yea we need a new flying type physical move that non bird can get
Aerodactyl is another one Gamefreak just refuses to give a decently powerful flying stab move for. Yeah he got Dual Wingbeat but he's not in SV, and given how GF has been gutting movepools he'd probably won't have it anymore whenever he comes back. Give it Brave Bird so not only would he have a good flying move but also so Rock Head won't be a useless ability on him.
I didn't know Gyarados got Temper Flare. I figured it was primarily a Fire types only move, since monsters like Groudon can't learn it for some reason.
Just slap a dragon move to give the dragon type it deserves. This pokemon having mold braker makes it almost unstopable because not even unaware pokemon like quagsire, clodsire or clefeable are secure anymore. This water/**DRAGON** pokemon will just destroy them.
In Japanese myth or something it's said that if a dragon uses its power for destruction it loses its title. That might be why Gyarados isn't dragon type
"what mega do you want to see next?" MEGA TINKATON! with an even bigger hammer and an actual atk stat, lol. imagine having multiple megas available next time, because they decide to consider them different items and having mega tinkaton alongside with mega mawile...
People talk about the karp climbing the waterfall to become a dragon. But what people neglected was the dragon loses its status if it kept abusing its power. Lorewise, gyarados WAS a dragon but eventually got demoted for rampaging in cities.
It was great at launch, however with how common fairy typing is and how outclass it has become, the trainer had a better option to use for a mega over gyradoce.

Least Mega Gyrados has Dragon Dance to boost both its speed and attack. Mega Garchomp had nothing, not even an ability in Sand Rush to make up for its speed drop until Gen 8 Natdex gifted it Scale Shot, and even then, you’re dropping Defense while betting your soul on a multi hit.
Honestly they ruined Gyarados with this form makes him look non threatening he looks a overweight Goldfish. OG form looks way better they missed Mark ❣️‼️ Big Time.
Wait it needs Water Dragon typing mega form not Water Flying Mega form as regular if it recieves Dragon mega typing which it deserves so long would be fair, and yes it is also true it needs some solid Flying moves tbh

@@rupaknaskar5905 no shit bro but Gyarados is based the fish that went up an entire mountain and was rewarded for it Yet, to evolve Magikarp into Gyarados, you just have to make it level 20 I was just explaining why it was a water/dark type
