Lowers SLIGHTLY????!! Mid season patch was -1 sec on fortify duration, +1 second of fortify cooldown (wasn't mentioned on the paper), +2 seconds CD on Spin= devs nearly doubled the window when Orisa has no cooldowns to use. That's huge, and then there were armor changes that affected her more than all other tanks. She was F tier easily, stop whining
sojourns changes seem to be trying to deviate her from being a sniper, and being more akin to a variant of soldier, where her rail is a finisher. honestly its for the best, since a sniper having good poke, mobility, burst, area denial, AND a good ultimate is just insane.
She is even more broken now. Her hip fire is super lethal mid to close range now. Rail doin 100dmg still makes her one of the best at confirming kills. I was shredding with new soj yesterday.
@@5080yen A tank whose entire kit revolves around a one shot is basically impossible to balance without making the character either godlike or complete garbage, no one is ever excited to fight hog
He needs a rework that isn't centered around breather, his breather is what keeps him being a bad pick since they keep nerfing that part of his kit. I have my issues with paladins but at least they know how to design a hook tank (makoa) without him being op.
@@lukeaustin4465 Original TAB is now better because it provided lots of HP on a smaller cooldown. Forced hard retreats if it had to be used to actually tank damage, which wasn't the worst because secondary fire was a threat at a moderate distance. Hog's current TAB just neutralizes damage and doesn't heal him, so he's stalling his own death, plus the cooldown is just huge. There's really limited merit in Doomfists and Orisas stunning you out of TAB when they shred you regardless. It felt better to play the Roadhog that could skilfully one shot some heroes and had his secondary fire, that no one complained about because he wasn't often seen, and had to play ring around the rosie with his counters in order to survive. I hate frontline Hog.
I don't know how much you pay attention to them, but Cyx has some of the most unique, charming, and funny mannerisms of all the streamers. He seems like a humble, entertaining best friend. Shame his editor titles his RU-vid videos in the most arrogant ways possible.
I mean overall he's been in a decent spot lately his win rate is below 50% until you hit master and gm where it actually goes positive plus he's more team oriented than both hog and Orisa so I don't think the devs plan to nerf him unless he starts to just run lobbies without any assistance
Still waiting for a season where we dont have to cycle the 3 braindead tanks, Hog, stupid Horse, and cement eating Samoan dual wielding Bastions. But its blizzard so im expecting mid season patch to buff One of those 3 again.
50 hp nerf to hog's hp is not needed 40% is a big number for a tank like hog who relies on that ability's dmg reduc to survive they should compensate this by first reverting that 50hp health nerf which is just dumb for me then either or both increase total hp gain from breather and increase hp gain per sec like EX. total hp gain FROM BREATHER IS 400 TO 550 HP GAIN PER SEC IS 100 to 125 something like that if not just remove that 1.5x headshot modifier from hog's shotgun to 2x like all the other heroes are
Nerf is so big. He takes 25% less dmg from headshots but he takes 20% more dmg now during take a breather and -50 health is big. But honestly game is so dysfunctional hog would probably still be ok. You can just walk around and hook kill that basic value is still there. A lot of tanks needs to hop a lot of hurdles for that kind of value. I wonder when they gonna buff ramattra. He is so terrible for quite a while now.
So Hog can’t do damage, therefore we made him more survivable because he’s a tank. Oh by the way, Hog shouldn’t have any chances to survive, let’s get rid of his survivability and give him a joke of an ability that breaks half the time while also making him not do much damage.
Still confused about the health of hog? It say it was changed to 600 but it's 750 in game? Is that because of the global health increase and it's just added after base health? It confuses me
Problem has always been white knights that have blizzard devs ears, they don't balance based on statistics, only how hard their lackeys whine. When orisa is OP everyone complains, so blizzard does nothing, but when hogs op, people don't complain as much but blizzard shills act like its the end of the world and hog gets instanerfed.
Bruh i consider myself a Mauga main and don’t understand how he hasn’t gotten nerfed (again). like shift his value to overrun or his long range damage instead of keeping him as a spicy bastion turret.
Cuz people hate playing against him or low Elo players are physically incapable of dealing with em so they gotta nerf em to deal with it that's pretty much always how it's been
And Mauga will be nerfed next. Mauga will dominate because Hog got nerfed, but next balance will deal with that. We've seen this circle bunch of times already
