Every time you show a shot of Sherpa's outdoor dwelling, I picture our pup still being inside. Tough to let go of the past.

Sherpa was a magnet that drew people and other dogs to him. Jamie was very blessed to raise him and share him with the world. Thank you Jamie, Sherpa will be forever loved and remembered.

Every time you go out in the garden, I instinctually look for Sherpie. I miss him terribly!

Found a stash of cat toys this morning - my cat has been gone for nearly 8 months and i swore i cleaned behind all of the furniture. I stopped finding fur month ago, until this morning. I still talk to him too, at times. He and his brother live in my heart ❤️

Jaime, I’ve watched you for several years and your love for Sherpa is evident. I have had 5 Siberians and 1 border collie (adopted) over the last 50 years. Losing each was a trauma, and every new one was a rebirth for me. You will recover from this, and you will also not be the same individual that you were before. Sibs are forever, they never die, they forever reside in your conscience. Sherpa is just parked in a different space. My advice, for what it’s worth - you will not be a complete human being without your Husky by your side. Once infected, it’s incurable. From this side of the pond to you. All the best, JK

Your puttering around the yard has me wanting to finish my own yard's chores. I have a plan to put in a rain water barrel once my new driveway is installed. The local park system offers a class in building a rain barrel system, I think I will sign up for the next class. Thank you for continuing to be an inspiration Jamie :)

You are very lucky that you are handy because you have been able to do so many improvements around the house that would’ve cost a fortune if you had had to pay somebody to come in and do them for you. It's a funny thing.... Jamie you feel alone , but so many folk are sending so many kind thoughts...😊💙🦉... We all hope this helps you, after all your kindness to Sherpa.🐕 What you have created is extraordinary 😊📹🐕. The videos , adventures, sharing thoughts, showing us your life...the moving to the huge garden ( I saw it and thought, whoops, that's going to be a lot of work ! )... " Little Red" ; all the additions to the red van, the ramps /steps to help Sherpa up, the anti - spill water bowl , van repairs, electric bike to / from the garage ; the lovely wood burner stove, seeing the Aurora, so far south; the little birds coming in ( I get that nearly every year, last autumn I even had 2 (? Yes, TWO ! ) hedgehogs come in , they stayed a few weeks, and ( ahem) I got a bad tummy bug from having to clean up after them ! 😊🤔. But I loved helping them : they were tired and slow on arrival, but were much more lively , once fed with good cat food and lacto-free milk ! They went back to the garden when they were ready ...😊. 🤔🦉🐕To return to the memories that your videos have left for us : the presents folk sent ! ( needing a shelf unit to display them).😊.. Seeing a home take shape , and us being able to share the experience...the house started quite empty, but you are creating a home that will always be a happy place, knowing how dear Sherpa was there, and the way you put in SO much time and care to make his life as good as anyone on this earth could ..😊🐕🦉💙. And our lives , too ! When so many people keep themselves to themselves these days , but you shared your life with us ! 😊 We were honoured to see it all taking shape : that was a key thing : you involved us ! 😊💙 So now, there is this huge positive effect : There is 😊huge 😊 gratitude from us for what you did, Jamie....😊🐕 The huge number of folk " out there " who felt better for seeing you with dear Sherpa, e.g., the lady in I.C.U.....( that post made me cry today , reading it 😢). What I was trying to say is that you have made a most POSITIVE EFFECT here...😊🐕 And it has a " knock -on " effect... The whole place STILL seems aglow with the " presence " of your dear Sherpa.🐕.. It is still being a warm , welcoming place for all of us out here.... Jamie seem to love projects. Now, with his new property, he can find so much to do. It's also very helpful at this time. Keeping busy doing something you love helps keeps you from being overwhelmed by sadness when you lose something you love more.
