Here in the UK I would say Primark is a store we would pick up our basics. I’m never “wowed” by anything in Primark but I know if I need a basic black cami or a pair of sandals then Primark is my go to!
In the UK Primark has basics but also a lot of dressy / fashion trend clothes, sort of like cheap remakes of whatever is currently popular. That's why it became so successful in the UK because you could buy 'cool' looking clothes, which normally would cost you twice the price or more in a normal high street shop.
I‘m wondering when seeing this video as I though cheap primark shopping is over with thrifting and stopping fast fashion, keeping sustainability in mind… Is this returning as primark is new to the US/Canada? 😧
I live in London, pretty much the same 👍🏼 like you said it's good for basics and yes I have ditched uncomfortable bra's for bralets, which I love wearing. Have a great weekend 😁😘
I would say most people get their basics from primark here in the UK, also a lot of trend items. The best part about primark in the UK is the collabs, so much cool Disney merch!
I gave up trying to fit my thighs into strictly thrifted items. I wear SO much sustainable (Spell, thrifted etc.) but I also allow myself outside of that realm because clothes should fit my body and sometimes thrifting bottoms is so fucking hard😭 !!! Also this felt very nostalgic as I love the UK. ❤️
It's not like a Primark here in The UK. And honestly, I hope you don't get the same as us. Primark belongs to European culture. Fed up you Americans and Canadian have to get our shops.
I definitely thought it was no where near as good in comparison. However, that being said - Canadians literally never get anything... It's laughable how few good stores we have. Leave us out of it :(
LOL it goes the otherway around aswell- Abercrombie & Fitch Anthropologie Homegoods Nike Addias Sephora Mcdonalds Starbucks Claire’s Costco Footlocker Levi’s New Balance Tiffany Timberland Urban Outfitters West Elm Shall I go on? 🙄
