I swear I saw a game like this but involved like 60 people in a lobby trying to push A boulder up a hill. The whole catch being that you basically need a full lobby to work together to get the boulder to the top, and there’s about a 0% chance a bunch of randoms in a lobby that big are gonna be able to do that.

I feel that man. It was the same with only up, but at least the stolen assets in that were interesting to look at, this game is all brown and grey.

Honestly, not all that bothered by it. The entire point of Sisyphean tasks is for it to be excruciating and meaningless, anyway. That's not to say it shouldn't be anything more than an asset dump, but being really mad about it seems odd to me.

@@snkybrki you have a point, but at the same time games should be fun, and as infuriating as fodian games are, once you master them they're actually really satisfying to watch, whereas this game is always going to be very slow and only as interesting as the obstacles presented

@@jblen Fodian? Anyway, I definitely understand you desire for video games to be fun. But I think you're assuming that this game definitively isn't fun. It could be *more* fun, for sure, but it's not like the thing's worthless- the simple gameplay loop looks satisfying (especially when you complete it). It's a simple sisyphus game. The entire point is that the dude is doing a laborious, meaningless task - deep gameplay mechanics and RPG stats might distract from that. What's more, rage games and being basic go together like rum and more rum. Nothing wrong with wanting more out of such games, but being tilted over a rage game being basic is goofy to me. Especially one that is based on a character that's all about boring, laborious, meaningless tasks. Think of it like this, how would you view me if I said I was furious over Getting Over It (more more notably, Only Up) using basic assets and being basic? You'd think that's an weird reaction, no? Yes, I know those games aren't as simple as this one. My point is that simplicity alone isn't really cause for great anger. Maybe if the devs had the audacity to charge more than, max, 10 bucks for the game, I'd understand it more. But I don't think they are.
