China will not open as much cases, marketbots in china are screwed, but i think chinese people will still flex skins so where do they get them? From people who have opened cases, so skinprices may rise if the demand for them rise, by this caseopening will become more profitable and by this more cases are getting opened. Its simple: it will all ballance itself out but desireble skins will rise in price I think
Counter strike has 1 billion skins. The supply of all skins have increased. It will keep going up but you see prices are at all time high. You have good logic, but skin prices might go down because they are tied to people interest in the game. opening cases is a big part of it so if China stops then they might start not playing meaning prices go down
@@anti6017 I'm a bull for the opposite, I actually think skins stand on their own without gambling. First party or not. Unpopular opinion but genuinely how I feel about the skin market.
Is china banning case selling/opening or literally not letting Chinese players to not get case drops? Because if they only ban case selling all the other market will be overstocked with cases from case farming bots making the prices go down.
My guess is that they are going to make the same thing like in some europe countries..with the scanner you can check what is in a case and then you need to pay 4 it
If cases ever get locked out of purchase but can be opened with personal supply having your own bulk stock will be valuable, personally, so I say stock up. If you're holding as an investment it is looking more and more bleak. On the reverse end if all case items become 'legacy' where they are only kept in the game with existing case supply and Valve moves to a new model for new skins the returns when opening cases will be much higher and we can expect 'legacy' skins to go up in value with an announcement that no more skin supply will be brought in.
What if they are starting out by cracking down on videos and gambling content. So China is leaving the gambling open in the game because they care more about people who don’t already gamble starting to gamble because they watched a video on tik tok
Buff may speculate that there could be a ban, and if they use to store them on bots they just make sure to not lose any money here "by their own decision"
But if they are banning cases and potentially completely remove cases all together from every chinese account, the prices will boom insane cuz a good 50% of the case supply will just vanish. Also a lot of chinese investors are probably gonna bulk sell their stuff rn making the prices go down crazy. Bulk buy cases and pray
If it ever gets to a point of where Buff gets shut down I would think Valve would step in. If buff goes down there’s a high chance that CS’s market would crash and Valve would lose a ton of money
1) valve doesn't care about skin prices. They actually WANT cases in particular to crash because they'd rather 99% of ur gambling money goes to keys instead of buying cases. 2) buff doesn't hold skins so even if the site goes down it'd just be a mass exodus to another site at most creating a barrier between Chinese and western traders.
The fact china is doing this first than valve or the government is crazy. Cs:go cases have been leading KIDS into gambling addictions at a very young age and some of them even lead to suicide. It is a very big problem and someone had to take action.
So basically, someone from the CCP tipped them off that the CCP might close or take over their business if they still soft promote the gambling aspect of cs2/perfect world
dumb investment, what do you think is gonna happen if a giant percentage of the playerbase gets prohibited case-openings? Less cases gets opened, less demand, meaning lower prices of cases.
Supply is the same, just because they can't get sold on buff, dosen't mean the supply is gonna get lower. This will just result in cases to be sold on other markets. The cases will likely fall in price, because a good percentage of the playerbase may get prohibited case openings, which results in less demand on cases, meaning lower caseprices. It's highly unlikely the cases will increase in price.
@@alexandreiss0agr276 you would be terrible in busines If you think that valves gonna give up their billion dollar cash cow. Also skins have nothing to do with FPS. That’s your rock of a computer.
