I’m so frustrated with 5ks this event. I quit using my bought incubators and I’m only using the unlimited one. I was also lightly doing the Vulpix quests too so that sucks. A loved one of mine busted out that shiny luck and hatched a shiny Wurmple and gifted it to me though!

This is the thing I like most about Pokemon Go: it changes on a regular basis. When you begin to get a little bored with the game, they add new gameplay. This keeps the game fresh and encourages you and other people to play more. When people see me playing (they usually laugh because I'm 61 but my insides are like a 12 year old) and tell me that they haven't played for a while, I tell them all the new stuff that's happening and my hope is that they'll start playing again. We all need some nonsense in our lives and this is but 1 of several nonsensical things in my life. I have 4 gyms nearby that will start raids in the next 13 minutes so I'm off to win some raids. Axew isn’t the gibble equivalent in this gen, the axew line is not the psuedo legendary of gen 5, the deino line is the psuedo legendary which has already been in go for a while The axew line is just a kinda strong line like flygon, but not psuedo legend
I feel you. I've been doing nothing but hatch 7 eggs and I've been hyping it up and reporting them all in my discord, had ppl hunting it for me. For nothing. 98% chance it will just get ignored:/
RIP Archeolops. I knew they were gonna nerf it somehow, but I thought they do something a bit more creative to fit how the Pokémon acts in the main series games. But alas they did the typical “just give it bad moves” nerf. At least this leaves the door open to let it be real good in the future. Even if it’s locked behind an event.
I was so excited about the Vulpix tasks until I found out that you can't get a shiny vulpix from them. While the effort was wasted, I don't think my incubators were. I managed to hatch 3 perfect pokemon from them and I finally hatched my shiny alola meowth, so that was a kind of reward that came from those tasks.
I didn't do as many Vulpix researches as I could've wanted (and I'm kinda glad I didn't) since it is my favorite Pokémon ever, but it's still frustrating that Niantic messed up this... For the moment, I'm go with the "Nick" route and not spend any money on incubators, or in the game in general. Hopefully they come forward and compensate the player base with something, not expecting something big like free incubators, but SOMETHING.
Not a fan of Timburr only being in raids and eggs. You get good IV ones getting them from there and you have to reroll the IVs and hope for a good roll from a trade (even with a lucky trade) just so you don't need to spend candy to evolve them.
Me and my buddy pokemon Tepg hit ultra friends and I got a Tropical Flower as a souvenir. And my first new pokemon I caught is a Joltik, can't wait to see the rest of them and caught them as well. Have a good one Zoe and PEACE!
The Vulpix research was super frustrating for me as well! I completed 32 tasks only to find out I didn't even have a chance at the shiny. =( Also for the first half hour or so of this new wave, Sawk and Throh were glitched and I had BOTH spawning in my town (same thing happened with Shellos east and west when those came out), so I snapped up a bunch and can trade them to pals who might not be able to travel.
Hey @ZoëTwoDots. I’m very excited about the new Unova Pokémon out now. I caught Tympole and Venipede so far. The Trade Evolution System I’m sorta ok with this but it depends cuz of the Trade IV Reroll so if we have one that’s low IV and wanna get Trade Evolve one to get high IV. We’ll see but I’m excited. The removal of the Hatch 7 Eggs definitely has me down: 😫! That’s how I feel. Happy Weekend!!
I know that compensation was talked about, however that referred to coins for incubators. I used gym coins, so not actual cash. I don't know whether to be that pissed off over my 4 failed Vulpix quests.....
They really should compensate people who have bought incubaters within the past week because they know that a lot of people have been hunting the researches
They should allow the ones that evolve from trading to be traded back to the original trainer. So if they don’t do that you’ll have to trade ones that are bad and hope they go up
Not cool they took it out but they should have warned us before they did so you could stop paying money for incubators. I hope they do compensate in some rest for that
“alan, can you cook this for me? im gonna make this too salty from these egg hatches”. these trade evolutions are gonna make gurdurr (and possibly timburr, depending on how it works) an excellent candidate for lucky trades, given that conkeldurr is strictly better than machamp. also it turns out that throh and sawk are in the opposite regions from what was reported
If the Alolan Vulpix quest is busted did it effected eggs too? I hatched many Alolan Vulpix and so did my friends and I didn't see a shiny either. My guess is yes it did but they will never admit to it.
So excited for all the new pokemon! Can't wait to go out and play tomorrow :)

Knowing Niantic they'll probably just ignore the Vulpix problem and hope it goes away. They're not good at apologizing and/or compensating players for their mistakes. It feels so disrespectful as a paying customer... :(
Great video Zoe! 2 of the new ones so far for me... had to smile at your Snivy hat trick, I have been trying for that shiny worm and at first was not to upset with the Snivy hatches because I still do not have a real good one. A hundred hatches later (exaggeration for effect) I am getting salty on the stupid snivy hatches. Thanks for the video!
Am I wrong in that Machop to Macoke is 25, trade it then it is 0 to get to Machamp? I've got about a dozen Machop saved for distance trades...... Madness. (as he runs to every Timburr raid ever)
This is a nice new feature to have in the game fo sure but what I'm wondering is for example, player A evolves a 10/10/10 IV machop to a machoke to then trade it to player B but if it doesnt become a lucky pokemon and has like 4/7/2 IVS then player A has then just wasted 25 candys right?
doubt they're going to do any compensation. that time when the legendary beasts came back and I think only raikou could be shiny and other 2 couldn't for the first day or 2. I was only doing entei and suicune cos I already had raikou. I contacted ninantic. send them screenshots with dates. basically they said tough cookies
It's Still just Plain Dumb, that they just decided to Add New Pokemon to the Egg Pool, when People are still trying to get Shiny Wurmple( Which Should Also Be In The Wild)!!! They should have waited until next Thursday, when the event ends, when they Normally do Updates, not on a Friday, in the middle of a Basically Paid to get what you Want Event!!

Angry about Alola Vulpix. I too fooling that quest and bought incubators for that and Wurmple. Had gone off doing eggs before that. Niantic with false advertising and ripping us off. Could file a class action if it was something more important. Liars. As for new mons would have liked a bit later after party hat event finished as now eggs watered down even more. Even harder for shiny Wurmple. Think I’ll go back to not doing many eggs again.
My question is will trading still effect the IV's of said Pokemon. So say I have a hundo Machoke, if I trade that for one I won't be able to have the Pokemon traded back to me and two the IV's will change. So you'll want to trade Machoke for Machoke and hope for the best I guess. Or use candy. But then if you look at Shelmet it takes 200 candy to evolve if don't evolve by trade. What about a good IV mon's?

True question...ive been off for a few days so i havent research much..but what will happen with the ivs? I mean what if i exchange a hundo so the other player can evolve it..will the ivs remain the same now? Or will they change as always
