Band-Maid is like a drug. You get a high listening to their song, but then it ends & you are left wanting more! The blu-ray of their full concert is a mind-blowing experience! Especially if you love Akane as much as I do!

I freakin love Akane. She's by far one of my favorite all-time drummers. She's so technical!

I LOVE how confident Misa Plays that Bass and how she always dances with it. She s a beauty and a beast.

Miku is the engine that makes the whole thing work. Without her there would be no Band-Maid. Kanami is the one who makes the music and the intricacies of it sound the way it does. She is responsible for much of the B-M sound that is so easy to recognize once you are hooked.

It's all your fault. Dude, you got me hooked on this band. I. Can't. Stop. Listening. To. Them. I've been Dominated from the Onset!

Band-Maid just announced refunds for the five upcoming Zepp concerts. Tickets for Nippon Budokan are available at 10,000 yen for all seats by raffle. Slipknot's makeup for the cancelled Knotfest is on for January 11th with Band-Maid on the bill. And the band announced a crowdless concert for next month as a make-up for the cancelled Zepp. On RU-vid.

And even the Songs not written by Kanami are still amazing They still have that Akane Power drumming That Misa Beast Bass Kanami genius guitar Solos and Saiki s sexy powerful voice Best Rock Band on earth since 2016.

Band-Maid's official news letter that announced the cancellation of the Zepp shows indicated that they would be uploading more of their live performances to their official RU-vid channel, presumably from their older DVD's. They uploaded the Zepp Onset video from 2018 this morning, and I expect more from that show to be uploaded over the next few weeks. I think it's probably a safe bet. The DVD is 2 years old, so probably not many people still in the market to buy it, and most of the DVD has been uploaded by other people. They might as well upload the videos and get the revenue from the views.

Band Maid is my favorite hard rock band. And I only been listening to them for a few months. Now you need to do a Lovebites song......Hammer of Wrath or Break The Wall is a must. 🤘🏻

Great reaction lol. However, you pointed at Miku as the one making the music, when it's actually her guitar teacher - the lead guitarist Kanami - that writes Band-Maid's music. Miku adds lyrics to the songs after the fact. All of these woman are equally essential however for making Band-Maid's sound: they're a tight-knit group, socially and musically.

They are awesome live but they are also awesome through their MC's... it's another different thing, but still very worth watching and listening, of course... (they ARE the best, after all) You should check more MC's from them ... just watch another one you already did live, "Don't You Tell Me", the song is absolutely amazing, and they look soo soooo freaking gorgeous (Saiki in this one is just mind blowing gorgeous...) ... or check the emotional "Daydreaming" - Kanami the little genius guitar goddess has one of the best emotional piercing guitar solos I ever heard... or even - AGAIN trying to reach Mr. Rock'n'Roll for already a few times on this one - a reaction to both BAND-MAIKO videos: "Gion-Cho" and "Secret MAIKO Lips" .... (Akane has some really funny moments - eating noodles while everyone else is very composed drinking tea) ... and there is that too... the fun and the funny, on top of the masterful playing, these girls really have a great sense of humor that may just come through when you watch the interviews or some live moments, but they also put that humor into these videos...

Check out BAND-MAIKO / secret MAIKO lips!!!! Band-Maiko is Band Maid's side project that they did a bit back then. The difference is that they incorporate more traditional Japanese instruments and sound into their songs.

Live performances kick ass! But, there's nothing like the studio recording for the sweet sonics! And their videos are fun!

FYI Mr. Rock N Roll: All songs come from Kanami, although the others have input as well. All lyrics come from Miku with some early exceptions. All vocal arrangements come from Miku and Saiki. If you would be interested in doing a two song video or back to back videos, you should do Secret My Lips by Band-Maid and then do Secret Maiko Lips by Band-Maiko right after. Both can be found on Band-Maid's channel.

I love this Band Maid and their immense talents. Kanami is beyond brilliant and Saiki a supreme singer perfect for the band. The real engine room is Misa and Akane. Was there ever a better pair to drive the song. The most solid pair in the business and Misa apparently is the only one not using a click track.

Apparently Kanami is the one writing 95% of all the music and Miku is writing all the lyrics to each song. Miku started to learn an instrument (guitar) in 2013 when they got Saiki on board.

Talking of excellent live versions, there is a Lovebites, song that has been lifted from a live DVD, that has remained uploaded to RU-vid. Sorry ahead of time, this is probably pedantic. Miku isn't the Tuomas of BAND-MAID. Tuomas handles much, much more of the composing and recording process for Nightwish. Miku IS the creator of the "kawaii maids who play hard rock" idea and worked to bring this group together, to be sure, and especially early in their history, a relentless promoter. They've written their own songs for the last several releases. Kanami is probably the most influential member musically, as she writes the music (though only in broad strokes for bass and drums, since MISA and Akane work their voodoo on those parts). Miku writes the lyrics with the help of Saiki. My guess is that Miku plays whatever rhythm guitar part Kanami writes for her. I'm sure there are others who could add more to (perhaps even correct) this, but this is how I understand it. Do every song of theirs twice for all I care, they're great.

While there, she also did a cover of Sia's Chandelier, if you want to hear her sing in English, but 'Circles' is my personal favourite. (Fun fact: she only went on to promote Slot, and ended up having to ask people to stop voting for her as the Voice live tour would clash with the band's own)

Hey Mr Rock N Roll, you should listen to Sabaton's Ghost in the Trenches. Its up there with 82nd All The Way (which i remember you really liked) but its about a Canadian First Nations scout and sniper who went on to become the most effective sniper of World War 1.

You mentioned Miku as founder and writer and compared her to Tuomas. I do see the comparison. But to be clear, Miku is the main lyricist, with some contributions from others, definitely Saiki. Kanami is the main composer-arranger, again with others contributing and improvising as needed.
