I wish I was a David Bowie fan before he passed away, he quickly became my favourite musician and celebrity personality around 2018. Changed my life quite literally. I wish I could see him live.

I listened to Hunky Dory today and I was feeling so down so long, and seriously I haven't felt this good in a lof time. David Bowie really has such great energy. He never gave up being who he is, right up to the day he unfortunately passed away. He had a low point and the public knew a lot and he straight kept up being him and evolved to where he didn't need to take drugs, and said at an uplifting interview how he was an alcoholic, and the relationships he re-built or built he would never ever jeopardized it. I never met him but when he was gone I really was so sad. Deep too and you just have this huge void that isn't there no more. Glad there is sooo much media on him.
I saw those shoes up close. David Bowie had the presence of mind to preserve everything. So, when the David Bowie Is exhibit was in Chicago in 2015, I got on a plane. Beautiful stuff.

I LOVE DAVID BOWIE, I have listened to every album, owned most of them, he was an absolute treasure... But that being said, No one's going to say anything about his teeth being the same shade of yellow as a school bus?
He looks wonderful here. Bowie would have fitted right in in Regency times or at court in London or Paris the 17th century. When fashionable men created a dash in high heels, make up and extravagant hairdo and colours.

Not sure if the interviewer is an idiot or just saw an excelent moment for a metaphor(shoes are shoes,people are peolple)and Bowie saw his intentions,thus the smile.
David being his honest, sweet, intelligent self and Russel being his usual arsehole self when dealing with David… David handled himself differently, completely marvelously when Russel interviewed him a few years later!
