I'm no widow player but is that normal gameplay to be camping away from your team covering angles that no one is coming through

The initial objective is to eliminate the enemy widow. Kephrii was holding specific angles to catch other GM widows off guard. When it's safe for him, he's more likely to play with wider fields of view. He has a conservative playstyle where he minimizes his presence in the fight because his aim and game mechanics are high enough level to net kills through smaller fields of view.

Most coaches will tell you to maximize your presence in the team fight and help pull cool downs so your team can engage. Keph has been playing these super long and weird angles for a long time. It's his preferred playstyle

If you've watched a lot of Overwatch League games, you'll know that at a high level, this style is the most profitable choice, unless the gap between your teammates and the other team is so great that you can't hold the line. For the same reason, this style is not suitable for less intense games. (Example: Master or low Grandmaster rank?) I clearly remember the showdown between ANS and CARPE in the Overwatch League. ANS is the same conservative style as Kephrii, while CARPE is a highly offensive style. The final result was that ANS survived and their team won. Although CARPE played more excitingly, they lost when he died.
