My auntie had one those Nintendo Switch controllers but reminds me of using the Nimbus controller on my old iPad every time when I hold up down left or right it happens 40:46
I love this channel man, i learn so much about collecting and about games that passed me by. But also you’re just funny as hell with your delivery. Cheers 🍻
I first watched that cartoon when I was 4 or 5 years old and I remember that when I was like 4 years or 5 years old my mom was brushing my teeth in her own bathroom and after a few seconds both of my front teeth came out me and my mom headed back to the living room I opened my mouth and my mom took a picture of it while the old TV is on 19:23
Thanks, brother! That means a lot coming from you. I try not to get too into the weeds on these, but it's difficult because there's so much I want to say
When I was 6 years old I was playing New super Mario bros on the Nintendo DS in the morning while sitting on the lobsided couch I was in World 1-1 I became really close of winning after a few seconds the timer was off and it said times up and it scared me really bad out of nowhere I turned off my Nintendo DS and started crying for a pretty long time because of that my younger brother sister and mom didn’t hear me the whole time 30:40
you should try Nioh 2. it’s the hardest and best playing of any non Fromsoft game .IMO i think it’s better in many ways… the only problem with it is that the whole build system. takes effect after your first playthrough , and they keep adding more build systems with more playthroughs . which is cool but you have to commit to it to get there
Didn't have any issues with control. I easily got all the achievements. Have recently picked up the ultimate edition on ps5 so need to go for a platinum. Lies of P has always looked good but I'm awful at soulslikes. I struggled with the last easy one I played which was morbid seven acolytes. I do have pineview drive to play. Randomly have it as a multi pack game and a stand alone release. I haven't finished slime san but the time I spent with it I enjoyed. It didn't mess with my eyes though, but then I have bad eyes anyway.
It's awesome to know there is SOMEONE out there who has a familiarity with all of these games. So many people in the comments are talking about quitting Control because it was too hard
@@RNGGamerYT haha it comes with picking up anything and everything that looks a little different when I run into them. I just enjoy that someone is talking about them.
I think difficulty is relative. I find RPG's very difficult, but I typically find shooters easy. I think it's my built up tolerance for these types of games, I love the challenge and refuse to let a shooter get me upset because I know there is a way through. I learned Silver Surfer in about 2 days and was able to "no death run" it within a week. As a fan of the shooter genre I will say that Silver Surfer is more forgiving than Gradius and Life Force IMO. I'm not saying that to brag, all I'm saying is that I expect there to be learning and discipline to beat some of these older NES games. Silver Surfer is also the best Marvel game on the NES. Turn based RPG's and games like Bloodbourne are very intimidating to me.
Shooters are my favorite genre! I've 1 credit cleared some of the hardest. I would have been able to knock out Silver Surfer if I hadn't been streaming it and trying to talk to chat. I found Life Force and Gradius to be easier than Silver Surfer, but that's because I was playing in private 🤣 You sound like a great gamer! Keep up the good work!
I highly appreciate your thoughts on Lies of P. With all these hard games it is about to get into the flow. If you always have these breaks and interruptions it is no wonder that it takes longer. I had the same with Getting Over It. Normally I would say you can manage it around 8-10 hours if you can have longer sessions closer to each other. I unfortunately had only 2 hours each session with one week break while streaming it 😅 took me roughly 22 hours this way
Great review of Lies of P! I'm on ng+2 and what I found tough was not being able to dodge roll until you upgraded your hilariously named P-organ. Keep up the awesome channel!
Control is a fantastic game. I beat it shortly after getting my PS5. I don’t recall it being too hard but the one thing I’ll never forget is the Ashtray Room - Absolutely amazing! If anyone misses this, make sure you figure out how to get there.
Adored Control. The actual controls felt so natural shooting baddies and flining stuff at them. Joyous. And like you said fascinating story. My highlight has to be when the guy suddenly breaks out into Mud's Dynamite out of nowhere. I love that song and that bit really made me laugh!
Can confirm that Pineview Drive is a terrible game. I absolutely knew what we were getting into. You know what they say, misery loves company.... Thanks for keeping me company 😂 Glad you played Control and liked it. As the only other game I've played on this list of 5 I really enjoyed that one and besides one boss I didn't struggle TOO much. Lots of deaths like you said but never anything too frustrating.
Really glad you got to Control. It's not perfect but it's one of my favorite experiences over the past several years. I beat the standard version before I got a Series X, then started all over with Ultimate Edition and loved it just as much as my first playthrough. Both DLCs were very well done. It's not Souls but it's rough enough to test you in many spots. And man the story and altered items are some of the most original I've ever seen. That music video Dynamite with Dr Darling, j still watch and laugh at. His descent into madness is one of the best story pieces in the game. I would give it a 9 but 8 is good enough lol 😂😂 Really really wish they would make a sequel
@RNGGamerYT I agree 100%. I never played Alan Wake but that DLC is longer and opened up a lot more of the House to explore. Someone needs to bug Remedy non stop for a sequel
I’m glad you got around to playing Control. I understand your perspective on this one, but as for me, I couldn’t get enough of it and didn’t want it to end. I loved the open world aspect of it. I was completely immersed. Glad to see the 8/10 though. Good luck getting the ‘Take Control’ song out of your head.
Spec-Ops The Line on Fubar difficulty nearly broke me. The one mission near the end with the gun nests. The grenade barrage was World At War levels. A rewarding completion but my god!
Hahaha Yeah you have had it pritty rough latley with the selection's 😆😆😆 , I never finished control i kept getting confused were to go and got fed up of it about 3 hours in. (So it is back in my backlog for now) Im still playing Lie's of P as you know i love it. I'm pritty sure im going to get the bad ending aswell hahaha. Yeah the boss's make no sence balance wise. I did the black rabbit's on like my second try, But the King of puppet's i was stuck on for day's and had to try about 89 time's lol. Awesome stuff as alway's buddy.
The only games that have ever given me motion sickness are Panzer Dragoon Orta (original Xbox) and AstroBot Rescue Mission (PS4VR). And I'm really upset about AstroBot because I love everything about the game, but I can't play it for more than 20 minutes or I will literally vomit. And that really bums me out because they do things in that game with the VR that are so inventive and so fresh and you can't wait to see what the next gimmick or mechanic is, but once you see it, you can't enjoy it because it's time to get the helmet off. Then you have to lay down with your eyes closed and wait for the room to stop spinning, then you can put the helmet back on and play for 20 minutes, rinse and repeat. And that's no way to play a game. So, I gave up on the game and still haven't gotten past Level 3. But I'm very sad because I want to explore that game but I can't. Now what's really weird is I played the demo of that game, had absolutely no trouble at all. But if I play the actual game, I can't play it for more than 20 minutes. Like I said, it bums me out.
100% I filmed a whole segment about how incredible it was. But I took it out because of spoilers... and the fact that the video was already 45 minutes! Rest assured, I am aware of how cools it it
I loved Lies of P, it had some of the best atmosphere of any game I’ve played in a long time. It was definitely hard as balls, but I throughly enjoyed it.
I loved control but didn't play on hardest difficulty as I don't do that. I got lost quite a few times and just ended up exploring until I eventually get there😂 I did eventually get bored until the maze with the music was amazing! Oldest I play is ps1 so haven't played some of these games myself. Interesting to hear about them though. Pinewood drive is available over here in the UK which is weird😅 it's £5.40 on switch on amazon😅
In order to fully understand Control, you need to understand Finland, the home of Remedy. Finland has an amazingly dark sense of humour. One of my favourite comedy novels ever written is finnish. The title? "Collective Suicide". And it's a VERY precise title. 😇It's also the game where I went "Ok, I need to lower the difficulty." only to realize I played it on easy. Fantastic game, but hot damn it's tough.
Control is an amazing vibe. Maybe you didn't use that gun properly. It transforms and you add different tokens to change its stats. It truly frightened me
I used it! I pretty much cruised through the whole game without too much struggle. But so many people were telling me how difficult it was. It was the easiest out of this batch of games for sure
The example you said about school is very accurate. You can't tell a 3rd grader 9th grade is easy when they are struggling at their 3rd grade. School is over rated. You don't need all these useless subjects they teach. Elementary & High school are the worst things ever & in your case add in middle school, I don't have that here where I live. Here if you count pre k & kindergarden, you are looking at 12-13 years of being in school, which is a lot...Also school is like 35-40 hours a week, on top of that 3 hours of home work every night. It's just terrible.
@@RNGGamerYT That's very cool that they are making homework optional for your daughter. Homework is = to getting achievements & trophies or unlocking stuff in video games. Like if you want to do that cool. School is already like 35-40 hours & you don't get paid, so why do extra stuff if you don't have to?
Great video and breakdown of the dpad on the pro controller. I had the same issue with that Dpad. It made games like Ghosts N Goblins Ressurection much more frustrating, with the constant crouching or looking up and standing still. Ive had to use third party genesis, snes style controllers for older types of games on the Switch. Im not sure why Nintendo didnt just throw in a SNES Dpad.
@@RNGGamerYT Yea, that game doesnt fuck around, especially on the Legend mode, which I have to get back to. Its a bad combo with games that are already merciless. If you find yourself playing more games like this on the Switch I can highly reccomend the 8bitdo M30 controller. Awesome Dpad, very similiar to the old sega saturn, genesis 6 button dpad controllers. Maybe even a little more accurate for me. The built in turbo functionality is great too. Retrobit makes similiar controllers but I find that I have the same false diagonal issues with thier SNES and Genesis style controllers, so the M30 would be my reccomendation.
Oh man! I just got Silver Surfer and I'm pretty sure I will never be able to complete that bad boy. Just watching you do it made my mind melt. LOL Great stuff brother! That Pineview Drive one looks.... interesting LOL
I see what you did there, with the reference at 0:46 to the movie, "Get Out"... You were in "The Sunken Place", trying to finish the challenge you created for yourself, isn't that right...
I'm surprised you have never played Celeste. It is not my type of game, but I really loved it. I did not collect all the collectibles, but the platforming and the main character was relatable and funny. The music was amazing especially on the final level. The game has a positive message about dealing with anxiety and things of that nature. Learning to embrace those negative aspects to make yourself a better person.
Wow Control is fucking great. Love how you finish shit, i find it really hard to keep interest enough to finish a game anymore as i get older. Although its pretty interesting to see which ones i do
I always thought that was a bit of an elitist remark: "That game's not that hard!". I've heard that about some notoriously difficult games such as Darkest Dungeon or Dark Souls or Contra. Having played those games, I agree with them with a caveat: Those games aren't that difficult... WHEN YOU KNOW HOW TO BEAT THEM. After you put in the hours and sweat into learning about those games, then, yes, they're not very difficult.
Albany, 36, Throw Mama From the Train … no wait - Good Morning Vietnam, no wait - Predator, no wait - Robocop, no wait - Three Amigos, no wait - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, no wait - … curse you, RNG Gamer!!!
For me, "Hotline Miami 2" on hard is ridiculous. But it's the only way to get the hidden ending. Brutal is not the word. It's the first game I've ever thought "...I can't do this, it's too hard". The horrible thing is, it feels doable, and then it laughs in your face and tells you that you suck. Fun though!
@@RNGGamerYT the second one, I'm convinced the developers hate the people people playing it. It's A LOT more open spaced, which means you've got threats from so many different angles. And then you unlock hard mode. Oh my God. It's a cruel, evil, angry experience
I bought HM2 the day it was released because I was so excited! After playing it for a few hours and feeling like some was off I took to the Internet to see if it was just me, nope! So don't feel bad for not being able to complete it. It's an unbalanced game!
@@RNGGamerYT he hit the nail on the head, it's way too unbalanced. I just had another go at it and wanted to throw the switch out the window. It's a shame because the story is great, there's a lot of deep stuff being told here. But getting to it is a soul destroying chore.
@@RNGGamerYT that probably happened to me when I was 9 or 10 I had voice cracks too many times in my RU-vid videos not only because I was sick it just came out of nowhere in the funny way I guess
Have to agree with you about Control. I kept saying to myself "Self, When is this game going to do something different"? I eventually gave up because so many other games were calling my name. Bored and Samey were how I felt.
How ridiculous is it that you have to worry about a copyright strike for Slime Son? Like, do they really not want people to show it off? Is it so bad that the devs are embarrassed for it to be out in the wild? It just seems like it really shouldn't be a thing at this point.
I didn’t think Control was hard at all. There’s some confusing moments, especially in the DLC, but it’s not a difficult game. I hundred percented all the trophies.
It's pretty hard for a lot of people. So many people in the comments rage quit the game. I didn't think it was too bad, but it's a lot harder than most AAA games
@@RNGGamerYT I played the trial pf AW2. I enjoyed it but, I don't understand why the race swap on Saga. They could've made another cop. I playing the 1st game tho.
Control was fun and super unique, but I was not a fan of the story telling, personally. The gameplay and presentation were excellent though, and the challenge was just right.
I haven't played wu kong yet, but everyone says it's really good! Ninja Gaiden is tough!!! I've covered it on my hardest games I've ever played series 😁
Never had a containtment mission in control appear in a area ive never met. Also the game isnt hard, its actually an easy platinum trophy which i dont care about doing but i did without trying to. It just went platinun done. So a platinum in less than 40 hours of gameplay. And the platinum is not hours of grinding so dont lie my friend, youre lying saying you have to grind the platinum cuase ive nwver gotten a platinum without trying. Didnt even have to look at the trophy list to do it. Not gonna say lazy, cause you aint lazy, but why not say I play a lot of games to mame content and didnt have the time for it. Most trophies are kill certain number enemies using certain abilities, upgrade Jesse, and so and so. People say Alan Wake is hard, and also found it easier. Now Alan Wake 2, is not hard, its annoying. Soulsbornes are hard, Alan Wake 2 does stuff that annoy cause they arent even a ability test things it just puts things in to really just eat time. Its a good game, with gokd story, but didnt have as much fun as Control or AW1 cause they changed the rules of how the light works mostly. But i guess aw you like to say difficulty is subjective to the player and what they enjoy and their own abilities or playstyle. There is stuff i find hard as nails whixh people roll over. As happened to you in Lies of P with the bosses. I guess Control and I found our groove and just went fluently. Died only 1 time in whole playthrough and it was during the foundation dlc. Left the Juekbox for last even after the DLC when i actually had gotten pretty good at it and had Jesse leveled up and that made it a easy but if not that part is really hard. Jukebox goes along nicely with your channel since it adds a RNG modifier randomly at the start. Did you do the DLCs and the Jukebox.
Control was the easiest of the games I covered in the video for sure. I would t say it was easy, and several people in the comments have said it was hard enough to make them rage quit. I almost got the platinum trophy. All I was missing was spending 100 skill points. There were quite a few hidden areas I didn't find, so I was missing the points from those. I finished the Alan Wake DLC 100%, but by the time I got to Foundation, I was ready to move on. I tried out the Jukebox a little bit
@@RNGGamerYT please man, til this day, i cant respect Force Unleashed,Control, etc because of Psi-Ops...storys' deliberate schlock. The controls AND POWER freedom are unparalled tho. Two people can play, one can be the mind(powers) the other can be the body...check it out.✌🏾
