I really appreciated this discussion. I would love a video of Matt leaning into the story of his surrogacy. Cost, legalities, where he had to go for surrogacy. You guys have such great chemistry, I’m actually a little jelly of your friendship. ❤❤❤

Everyone processes differently, and experiencing miscarriage is unfortunately so common. There is no wrong or right way to grieve pregnancy loss.

This was nice to hear. Matt is a great guy. Ignore those who has things to say about your friendship. I believe people come into our lives for a reason. Many people dont understand a miscarriage or loss of a child if they have not gone through it. I had a miscarriage before I had my son, its still a loss cause we were trying to have a baby and to loose that still it hurts. A year after that my son was born, he was my world, my life and my joy that kept me going. Who would of thought years later Id loose him too. He has left this world 6 mths ago. This loss was not like the miscarriage it was worse. I had the chance to live and enjoy my son while I had him. He was my light and my whole heart. Loosing my only child is the most painful thing that has happened to me. I ask myself every day how can I got on in this life without him.

I felt the same way as Anna when I miscarried. I felt disconnected and stayed like that until I got pregnant again. I also felt that it just wasn’t meant to be at that time. Love you two and so glad to see Anna on a video again. Missed you ❤

Such a great video of your different perspectives! I have a question that may be weird, but when Matt and his partner did IVF, did they use their sperm? Like did they use Matt's for one pregnancy and his partner for the other one? Just curious. You two are amazing parents! ❤

Love these videos of you two! It’s interesting to see different perspectives of becoming parents and then how many similarities there are with different situations. It’s also sad and unfortunately way too common that what’s supposed to be the happiest time of your life that someone can put a huge damper on and how that sticks with you for so long. I love how these videos show that we are all the same just the details are different! Please keep making these videos!

When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, I was tboned five days later and sent to the hospital via ambulance. Had my first scan, couldn't watch or have pictures because of ER rules, but was told baby had a heartbeat. They also told me there was a chance I could miscarry due to the accident. My OB office squeezed me in three days post accident to repeat the scan, per ER request. Baby was great. Sitting in the waiting room after my appointment, holding and staring at my only ultrasound, if someone tore it out of my hand, I would have lost it. No one should have done that to you, trying to be "sensitive" to other parents. They didn't know your story. I am so sorry.

You are both clearly such amazing parents and advocates for not just your own children, but all of the children who are growing up in "non conventional" families, and those parents navigating the world and the judgmental people in it who are just doing their best in their individual situations. Sometimes people just need to be educated when all they have known in their own lives is the standard family with a mum, dad and 2.4 children. Keep doing what you are doing! As a lesbian mum I always get where’s dad? Who is the dad?

I can relate to mat I was angry at my sister when she fell pregnant with my niece and thinking about an abortion and I was going though ivf. I know this was wrong of me at the time. I also did not mean to be. But I was trying so heard and she found it so easy. I never told her I was angry. She did not have the abortion in the end. At the same time I felt horrible for being angry.

These are grt videos guys. Your children are lucky to have you as their parents. Shame on these people who are so ignorant. One thing is for sure Matt's 3 children & Anna's 4 are not going to carry that trait, which is testament to the parents you are - stay brilliant & hope you do these videos often - really enjoy.

I just love the two of you hanging out together it just puts a smile on my face :) none of my birth stories went the way I wanted and it feels like every person I talk to as at least one negative experience too unfortunately. So many things in hindsight I would do or say but now I know how to advocate for family when it is their turn!

In America they are more understanding with pregnancy loss i think. I lost a twin as well my 2.5 year old was a twin and it was extremely hard for me to go through so I can totally relate .

What ever you do doesn’t mean everyone needs to support it .We been raised with mum and dad and as a mum of 4 same as you Anna 2 boys and 2 girls I am here to teach them what is normal for majority of as and when my 3 year old son ask can I have this colourful nail polish as my sister I just say no we girls do that , but boys do other kind of cool stuff and he is fine with it so he understand and not even exposing them stuff like transgender even my 7 year old never heard about it and will not for very long time as I want them to be kids be naughty and learn and enjoy their childhood. So if someone comes to me and try to tell me this is normal and influence my kids I am not ok with it and I have the right to say if is public and something kids should not see or hear same as you have full right on your opinion. I don’t want to attack you as you a mum with 4 definitely not having easy one way or other and the public hate must be horrible so I understand so please be kind and understand as We all grow up differently and just don’t want kids to be confused as is even hard for me to understand lots of stuff this days.

I think if it was your first baby loss it would be different thoughts @Anna As you had Emilia and Edie already a Mumma or Dad has a different emotion to a loss because you have them in your thoughts as well.
