Bro, I live 24/7, 365 with a high drive Belgian Malinois, he can spin in any direction you want and bite a target at the same time so you kinda missed the point of my comment of just appreciating the cats lol.
For dogs, it’s usually different words/commands because the spin in different directions are two different things to the dog, even though it’s both a spin. I’ve heard “spin” used for one direction and “turn” used for the other direction. 🤔 Cute kitties.
Yep, animals can learn words but they have a limited vocabulary and will associate a certain sound uttered by us with a certain command. It's also why commands are best when they are one or two words, because then they think of the word as a specific bark/meow. Which honestly isn't far off from how we learn language. We're basically making random noises in which we all agree have specific meaning when strung together in a certain way. Which brings me to my next point, language is just a low form of telepathy.
Most mammals have a dominant side. Their are very few true ambidextrous individuals. Most can be trained to use the less dominant side with lots of practice over time. These beautiful cats definitely showed their preferred side to spin. But I bet they could learn to do the opposite with time. They are smart, healthy and food motivated. 👍🥰❤️❤️
They appear to be clockwise cats; utterly adorable, synchronously spinning, clockwise cats.🙃💚 Dancing at parties in my youth, I found I subconsciously rotated in one direction and conscious attempts to dance the other way seemed unnatural and alarming; Yoshi's reaction reminded me of the feeling..:::😂🙈
That first cat was like, "The mere the thought of me spinning the opposite way is atrocious, and I can't believe that you had the gall to actually ask such an impossible feat from me 😤 puny human"
Yes, I agree!@@@ And their "regular" Spins are so beautiful!!! No real need to change their way of Spinning!@! Eevee...and Yoshi win the Golden Prize and Medals just the way they spin now!!!
It could be an ear imbalance . If his left ear is slightly heavier, spinning anti clockwise could feel disorienting to the cat due to his balance point
When I competed in figure skating I pretty much exclusively spun counter-clockwise. Sometimes I had to take Dramamine on days where I had to practice them for hours, haha.
Aweeeeeee. 🤧 Those spins, head tilts, meows, purrrsssssss are everything! They're the cutest little cats! I can't wait to get one. 🐈 🥹💛💛 Purring up a storm. Lol. That's cute. 💓
A lot of folks don't know that cats and dogs are also right and light handed/pawed, and have an easier time spinning one direction than the other- almost every time. It's really cute it work with your pet to find their dominant paw 😂
Not really, they only do that because of the food, by dogs you can eventually stop giving them treats everytime they follow a comand, but if cats realize they don't get food dor it they stoo, that's why people say you can't train cats since they always want something in return and affection alone isn't enough It's the same with humans or many other animals By dogs however you're not only just training them following commands is good, you're manipulating them in a way that the commands become lile a instinct, which is why most well trained dogs never forget the comands and why some dogs even die for following their comands Its similar to how in the past people would train slaves and brainwashed them using all kinds of methods, but in the end they never completely worked on humans, either they eventually commited suicide, tried to flee even at tge cost of their lives, became so traumatized and broken that they couldn't even really follow orders anymore or were pushed to far and rebelled, similar to cats This is why in my opinion cats are humans soulmates and friends, while dogs are humans best slaves and servants
@@velvet6923u summed up exactly what i wanted to say. i hate how people compare cats to dogs in aspects like this so ur comment is a great counterpoint to that.
"One does not simply spin, mother. To spin, is to become, art itself. You don't *spin the other way* You become beauty incarnate. Magnificence made manifest. I *spin* mother. Nothing less." - Yoshi - Probably.
Yoshi: “No mom, this is how you do it... clockwise! It’s my signature move.” Eevee: “Spinning is not my move... I stand up because I am the tallest in all the land!” Both together! “What is mom thinking. We are the bosses here!” 😹😹!
Both of your cats are downright gorgeous, but I’m over the moon for the beige boy. I had a cat who looked so much like him. Mine was a Rag doll who had the same personality and voice. I loved her so much and miss her. Your videos bring her back for me. Thank you.
