I have one that I used about twice and boxed it up. It feels like it's going to scratch the glass from the outside, it was weird. Now I use the Flipper.
Great video! Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that if algae grows on the scoly skeleton it won't grow back, though if the little white dots on the scoly move then they're probably harmless copepods or amphipods. Also the way you pronounced alveopora😂 not in a rude way but it's pronounced Al-veo-pora not Alve-opera. Great video though, your tanks look great! Keep up the good work!
For the scoly from what I’ve seen the burrowing mollusk/whatever they are live in the base of the coral and I’ve never heard about them coming out. Not very small
Just found your channel - love your tanks and corals - agree with diatoms and I like to dose with pods weekly a couple times with new tank start ups and dose phyto (grow my own, so always a ton of it) cheers - love the new corals and I agree with your favorite
diatoms for sure on the nano. Should pass in a few weeks, its a great way to see how the light concentration is though I always think. Its like a free par reading haha. I recommend money cowries as a cuc, fantastic ugly eaters :). Great to see the scolly coming back, well done!
Favia and encrusting corals need to be placed correctly They don’t grow much on a plug The biggest mistake I found in the 10+ years . Is I never took my time to place corals properly Once they grow it’s to late !!
