I'm happy you had the chance to do a review on this bike I was honestly gonna grab one before this video but it being a electric grom clone I wasn't sure if the specs were correct but now knowing the the pros and cons I'll make sure to go through with buying it.

@@anthonym1475 I actually never bought it a buddy of mine grabbed it before I did and I'm not a fan of the electric aspect of it. Youre honestly better off grabbing a gas grom clone not this. We've also noticed the batteries are pretty terrible, mileage and durability wise.

@@OnnieKoski after doing more research I personally wouldn’t get a bike off Belmonte, if your thinking of using a bike as a means of transportation that’s always fine but say bad weather comes up you can’t ride, for a bike you would use in that way you can definitely find a decent car for 3-5k that’ll last a bit aslong as it’s not a scam

Extremely cold temps will damage the battery in a single winter. You will end up losing around 4-6 miles of range. It needs to be stored in a warm environment.

I have a 50cc 1991 Honda NS 50 street bike in mint condition. On a slight downgrade I could get it up to 54 mph with a 175 lb. person on board. It's still like a moped however which means it's too under powered for primary roads. I know this because a car brushed up against my leg and broke my mirror on a busy street. I would take it to work using secondary roads going 13 miles one way and it was fine for that purpose. I'm 5 feet 8 inches tall and this particular bike here looks like it's designed for a person 5 foot 8 or less.

I just bought a Maddog 150 yesterday talking to Manny, the two times I called he answered promptly and answered all my questions; while on the phone he sent an invoice over to my email; all I had to do is click and pay; now I’m waiting for it to ship to my house, supposedly Tuesday ship and here in PA 5-7 days for shipping from Canada! So far so good, I’ll re comment after I receive the product in a timely manner!! Anyways customer service has been amazing so far

My 5 Thoughts 1, So it's basically a brand new bike the cost of a Galaxy S20 Ultra ... me likie 2, Does it pack enough room for one's significant other cruising along 3, It doesn't strike me as a daily driver , but would make a fun weekend cruiser 4, I wish it could at least do 60mph 5, Wondering how durable its gonna be for a first time biker who'd inadvertently conduct some serious drop tests every now and then I'm in the market for a used Honda CBR 600F2, ..... Never owned a bike before, but it checks off every spec on my current list.

1. I know right?? I’d much rather have a bike than a phone haha 2. Good question! There’s enough room on the seat for a second person, but the weight capacity might not work out. It’s under 210lbs I believe. 3. Absolutely! If you have a super short commute, it works. But having no where to go and just riding is a bit more fun. 4. Yeah, the speed limitations are the only bummer for sure. It’s actually like..the lighter you are, the faster it goes haha 5. I think this thing might actually be pretty durable. There’s no engine or mechanical parts really, just the wheels, breaks, suspension and handlebars. It’s super light too, so a few spills would be totally fine.

Hey that's a pretty cool little bike. I've never actually ridden a motorcycle, but electric ones are interesting! Could be a great vehicle to get me to work in the morning. I assume the regular motorcycle licence is required to ride one?

In most states, a motorcycle license is actually not required. The bike may be classified differently because it has a lower top speed and electric power 👍🏻

Nice video and thanks for the tips! Out of curiosity? Did you make any mods to the body of the bike/replace the plastics? It does look like you have it how it was shipped. I've seen reviews and the bike has the BOOM on the sides, but guessing those are older models. I also saw on older models they only have the speed in KM despite it saying MPH on it and wanted to check in to see if this newer model that changed. I'm also looking to ride this without a motorcycle license and just a drivers license. In my state anything with a 50cc engine and can't go over 30 MPH you don't need a class M, think this would classify with the Title and Registration they provide for speed specs? Thanks again!

No modifications so far - exactly how it was sent with all original parts. Speedo is still in MPH, but isn't as accurate as I'd like unfortunately. Certainly overestimates the speed. This should classify as not needing a motorcycle license, and they do include registration and title info when you get the bike delivered 👍🏻
