Same. This dropped when I was in middle school or junior high. '98 I think? So I was 14. My brother had been playing Tupac "All Eyez on Me" for a year prior to me getting Aquemini so that was my only frame of reference for what rap music was (I'm a white guy from Alabama). So I got Aquemini after a buddy put me on "Rosa Parks" and I was immediately blown away at these dude sound. It just hit way different than anything else I had experienced before. Loved it. Immediately talked my mom into buying ATLiens and Southernplayalistic. Mind blown again. I spent the next 2 or 3 years listening to 99 percent those 3 albums. Just so damn good. This album is the greatest influence on my music taste in my life by a long shot. And I listen to everything from black metal, prog, to fusion jazz. But Aquemini will forever hold a special place in my personal pantheon of music: number 1...

This song reminds me of a car so full of smoke all I can see is the cherry on the blizzy. The end also fooled me too no matter how many times I heard it. Then that bell would wake me up. Hahaha. The second verse of Andre's is an all-time classic.
