Avengers 25 should be more popular in sales, its literally the basis of 2-3 upcoming movies, and its one of his earliest appearances, everyone is focusing on the wrong Doom modern age books looking for hype when they should just focus on undervalued doom books from the 60s.
@@goldenageguru It was a different world with much different price scales. At the same time I bought a VG/Fine Batman #31 for $175. You can see where Marvel went into the stratosphere and DC was more linear or even stagnant.
I'm curious to see if we only get Vic as an Avengers villain or if he'll show up with the FF, too. MCU be crazy right now, I know we've seen that in the Fox universe, but...
Thank you for the video look forward to more guest hosts. Sadly, I don’t think any books are “bouncing” back. This list has lots of FOMO and spec books which seems typical with SDCC announcements. Market not getting better. Collect with patience. Thanks again.
As you stated, I think patience is important and also knowing when it’s time to pull the trigger. I think in about three to four years we’re going to look back at this time as a moment of when we should’ve picked up books.
the avengers doom cover is way cooler than the marvel super heroes one which is more like a spot illustration,...check out ff 57 too.....that ff annual is good for sure, and of course the ff 5.....they didnt call him the king for nothing,....
It’s crazy how the Claremont/ Byrne X-men made the xmen, but those comics are constantly being eclipsed by their successors. I guess that’s just how it works.
No key status i guess at the time. If you filter in title you can see all issues instead of just the keys. I learned that not too long ago and it has been helpful when searching for certain covers.
If the next Spiderman movie leads into the new Avengers movie. Then the Amazing Spiderman #350 with Dr. Doom on the cover could be a sweet issue to have or pick up. That is assuming spiderman will play a key role in the avengers movie, which he will.
I'm really trying to figure out how the first app of Isaiah Bradley isn't selling like the Red Hulk first app..kinda let's you know who runs the market....
I had that MSH #20 Doom book, but got rid of it because of the LOUSY Larry Lieber artwork. Look how uneven his knees are on the cover, and the interior is far worse.
The fact you guys never bring up spawn books especially when king spawn killed some of these books on this list... I know they made you look stupid with your 306 video but stop hating on spawn.
What site did you go on? Let me know what we missed. I just checked Key Collectors hot 10 for the week and we reported on those exact book. Which did we miss? 🤔
My two favorite time frames are Golden Age and the Bronze Age. Grew up with comics through the 80’s and 90’s and the majority of what I read is modern independent comics. Collect and read what you like. That’s what I do. 👍
