Loosing all of your friends is crazy. Especially to stick around when you are in a healthy relationship but to get lost when you are amazingly happy. That is beyond me. They only wanted to see you miserable. I can’t stand when someone gives their opinion about, “ I see you with….?” It’s only when we don’t allow peoples opinion of us to control us that we find true happiness! Also another observation. Growing up many of black families had Asian grandmothers. We saw a lot of this in the South. Maybe because of the location it’s strange to see but in the South I grew up in the 80’s seeing a lot of this, it was normal. A nice video. Well, I’m all for people choosing their own partners and pursuing happiness. I’ve been to Africa and Asia. In Asia, mixed kids are not considered Asian. In Africa, mixed kids are not considered black. It’s not all about love. Lots of other things got to be considered before getting into relationships. Many would say it’s unfair for the lifelong identity problems biracial people experience as a result of interracial unions. In the past for most of history, everybody stayed with their own race when it came to dating, marriage and kids. Since most relationships do end and break up, it just doesn’t make any sense to bring extra problems for yourself. To each their own. I’ve done the interracial thing more than once and it just never works out. I’m much happier being with a woman that is of my same race, language and culture. The more compatibility, the much better.
