One of my fondest memories was walking into a WHSmith in sheffield, and hung on the peg for some inexplicable reason was a car card from the mid 2000s, not sure what year but it was in that signature dark blue card design with the car silhouette, bear in mind this was probably around 2018 so that car had either literally warmed that peg for over a decade, or what is more likely is that a worker found it in a random time capsule in the store room, untouched for so long! i didn't pick it up, because it was just an uninspired fantasy design, but the bewilderment of seeing such a relic on an actual store peg made me have an affinity for WHSmith stores, and weirdly since, i've seen a couple cars crop up from the 2014/2015 seasons and picked up a mastretta MXR just hanging on a peg inside a WHSmith, i also once found an aston martin one/77 from 2010! maybe they just don't sell them at all considering it's only really known as a book store, and also they typically price them at almost £3 a pop, but either way it amazes me every time i see it. Love the videos mate, honestly worth giving your local WHSmith a pop, for some reason they've been locally showing up with ancient treasures for me!

I'm a middle aged man , my wife says it's a mid life crisis. I'm intrigued with this so at the weekend I want on my first hunt. Visiting 8 stores over 5 hours was enjoyable and frustrating. I looked at least 500 castings and found no TH, is this normal. I'm wondering if it's who you know in the outlets for when new stock comes in. I was amazed at how many of the outlets had the same ones. 20% of what I looked at not worth buying due to box damage. Any way I targeted a serious and came home with 20 castings. I enjoyed it but realised collecting can be expensive and frustrating. Maybe more rewarding if you have the time to look and the contacts. Great channel by the way😊

Such a shame that so many cards are battered and ripped. Have noticed this in Morrison's and Sainsbury's. Think pegs are better to be honest.
