I have just found your channel in the last 2 weeks. I really appreciate it! I am currently homebound on chemo and have missed getting to go out to thrift stores, garage sales, and estate sales. Actually, I have missed going out anywhere. My driving is not the best while I'm on this medication so I stay home. I enjoy your videos because of your own enjoyment of the treasure hunt! That plus you are always so kind and polite to the people having the sales and the other shoppers. I just want to tell you thank you for all of your video work and for sharing these! I do really enjoy them and appreciate them.
Good Luck with your Treatments. (I'm sorry you have to go thru it!) Watch out for "thrush" in your mouth! It can be quite painful. Make sure you keep an eye on your mouth. Use Antibiotics and various mouth & throat washes to give yourself relief. It's been 15 yrs for me now NED.
I think you are so grounded, smiling and enjoying thrifting more. I said that when you first started seeing each other. Now that it is growing, so are you coming into your niche in life! I love it. Also finding a broader selection of items. I so enjoy your videos and finds!
I just saw your video that you found the Harry Potter wallpaper. I just wanted to tell you to protect the edges of the roll because if it gets damaged it will not lay down or match the next sheet you put up. It's sooo important to have a good smooth edge to lay right on the wall. That's a great fine and I love your videos. Your so cute. Keep making these . I live in Al and I'm 80 years old. Wish I could thrift like your doing. Be safe and protect those edges.
My goodwill is great. I don't resell but have good luck there. I always say hello to the staff, and chat a bit if it's convenient for them. They don't mind if you look through carts, and I am mindful of giving them their space to work...lucky to have nice people working there.
Love watching you two.. am so envious of the thrift shops and garage sales you have in your country! Love from Lesley in a wee village called cummertrees in Scotland . Xx
Hi there I had to Google where that was. I’m in a town called Blairgowrie in Scotland …. Famous for our berries. Your at the borders? This has to be my favourite channel … and matts too as well as a couple other American channels. Loving the extra content too!
I rarely comment on RU-vid videos, but watching from the Cotswolds, England I just had to drop you a line to say how much I enjoy your videos. I love hunting for treasures at boot sales and charity shops over here and would love to do a big trip around the US doing similar. One day! Anyway, you are both so good at what you do, both in terms of having a good eye and being superb entertainment. Peace and respect. Geoff 🙌
I think we know all Matt's go to words and phrases , AWSOME, KOOL, FOR SURE, I LIKE IT A LOT. Obviously a nice guy but so monotone. Luckily your bubbly personality keeps the flow going in yours and his vlog.😊
You two are so kind and considerate and a pure joy to watch and you both teach us what to keep an eye out for. I watch both of your channels guys and you are great, thank you
You two make me laugh and smile watching you find great times to sell. Giving us knowledge on items to flip for a profit and enjoyment watching your happiness.❤️
What happened to the converse Kayla found in the stuffed animal bin? That bread box is awesome, love vintage kitchenware. Good find. And really enjoy these thrifting adventures--I would have passed on the Kate Spade, too. Why oh why does a purse that cost that much get wear on the handle?!?!!? Argh! 🤣🌸
Kayla, I buy birthday and Christmas presents all year and store them away (I shop when I can get what they like at the best prices). When it's time, I just pull out the right gift for that person, and then I am set!
I hope you list the parrots! I gotta have them for my Mexican gallery wall! I live in a stucco house in Texas and everything is Mexican colonial. My gallery wall is all from eBay. The parrots are great!
I Love your Videos so much. I subscribed philly flipper, part time picker and you. (You were the first 🌸) and now you both together ist amazing. Lots of love from germany. You are famous😉🍀🌸
Did you find the other shoe? Thank you for doing 2 videos again. I completely understand why you only posting one a week. We all go through rough times. I'm so happy to see you happy again. I am so excited for all of your videos. I get to live vicariously through you and all my other resellers. 😊 Have a wonderful day
Be careful of vintage fitted sheets. The elastic is more than likely dry rotted even if brand new old stock. I had one returned (got a ding on my account) and the second one i ooened just to check had dry rot too. I will only buy flat sheets now.
That Japanese piece was not a dumpling steamer, it’s a 3 tiered lacquered Bento box. Bento boxes are lunch boxes or small picnic boxes. Look them up, you may have passed on good $. Steamers stack, but they are woven materials so steam runs through.
I know I spent quite a bit of money on the blind bags, etc, for my granddaughters. I had to have a pair of scissors in my car when they were little to get toys out of packages and boxes. They couldn't wait 😂. As soon as they were buckled in, they would say "Meme do you have the scissors?". Great memories ❤.
I always enjoy watching your videos, you two are super sweet couple and you work well together. Kayla you remind me of the young Jody Foster. Keep your videos going.😊
It's like hanging out at the Goodwill outlet store where they have the big blue bins that come rolling out once every hour. I love watching all the ladies dig through it and then leave a lot of good stuff behind that I'll come around and pick them up. I get some really good items like leather jackets that I'm only paying a $1.59 a pound for.
Bread boxes are Always good if u have cats u need one or they will steal your bread, my cats steal bread chips instant noodles instant potatoes and anything they can get their paws on
The prices you guys have at the Goodwills by you and other people is ridiculously low. That Walt Disney bag would be $14.99 where I live maybe more. Brand new swimsuits like you had would be $20 bucks. We also don't live in a very social economic area and they charge pretty high prices. You guys are lucky.
I agree. A 20 dollar profit and a pain to ship isn’t worth it. You never know what something is worth. I found Phillip jefferies wall covering. People walked by it all day. I paid 40 bucks for nine 8 yard bolts. I ended up making a 700 dollar profit The designer probably sold them for the 500 a bolt price. To the client. Lol. Not the lady that found a 4 dollar painting worth 250k but not bad. That Disney key was to kingdom of hearts. I know my son and teens love that.
I’m at my local goodwill once or twice a week and always see the same few guys. It’s like they’re literally there all day standing and waiting for the new carts. Once the carts roll out they chase them and grab things off and get yelled at. It’s so rude and makes my time pointless haha
Saw the same guy around you at both stores😮1.looking at the soccer ball light (great purchase with Messi in town Messimania). 2.Looking at the FP pinball machine
With regard to the Utica White flat sheet new in package I think it’s a great deal, I have used nice flat sheets to make curtains for my apartments bedroom or slider windows using a spring rod, inexpensive and functional 👍👌😊
hey Kayla! Love the vid as always. Did you and Matt notice the guy in the pale yellow tee shirt that kept putting himself on camera? He went to the 2nd store too!!! So funny.
@abil828 “….. Did you and Matt notice the guy ……….. “ Actually NOT funny; please 🙏 be careful of any kind of a stocker, even if he, or she looks innocent.
What app are you using to find listings..comps and if the article has sold. I’m not a reseller but would really like to know. Thanks! Love seeing you guys together. Makes me smile!
Most resellers use the ebay app, but also Worthpoint (you pay monthly) or any of the other reselling apps like Mercari and Poshmark. Hope that helps. I love seeing them together, too! 🙂
