This was filmed a while ago so he can be wrong but in the 70s John Sr was actually an acting captain for Charlie Wagons before he got made. Did Dom collect money for Nino 1000%. Did he have decision making capacity? Idk about that.
He did , and that’s what people don’t like to understand. When Nino was in Florida for several Months a year , Dominick would do all his collections and bring them to Paul Castellano . Only because he was ninos nephew. If you weren’t a made guy you didn’t get the position he got in Ninos absence. This is why he says “Acting Capo “
