Both players very tough and hit shots with a high degree of difficulty. Honestly it was one of the best 1v1s I’ve seen in terms of skill. Green shorts just had the edge in the weight room, which made all of the difference. Salute to both competitors.

@@justanotherwaver9065 well for 1 Fomby is a better shooter n scorer. N Kam doesn't have a consistent enough jumper to punish him when he sags off of him. Fomby hardly had to try to win this 1v1 at all.
It’s not easy easy to score for Kam cuz I think Fomby just bigger. Him being bigger takes away Kam’s drive… not completely but enough to where you can’t expect to go to the paint, take the contact, and still finish comfortably.
As a huge kam fan, I honestly think his BIGGEST flaw is the release point and style of his jumper. He brings the ball up in front of his body and kind of leans it as well. It just seems like all people who guard kam have a really easy time putting their hand on the ball
Fomby too good to have to resort to unnecessary fouling to call for the ball and petty mind games. I love the competitiveness but we gotta play ball. I want to see a cleaner game next time.
cam really gotta get bigger, i feel like a lot of players can bully him inside and that kinda takes from his confidence on offense too. i think if he puts on some muscle he could be deadly af.
facts also gotta work on getting his jumper more consistent and learn to follow through most of his shots he shoots it too quick and isn’t following through and doesn’t use his legs on his shots he’s a dawg tho shouts out to both of them 💯

Nah I think he’s just such a great team player like he definitely a great point guard I feel like he good in 1v1 too but just overall can’t produce as much as these other guys cause they main thing is 1v1

Friga I think physicality is fine but tbh Kam didn't let Fomby land early on and then both of them really got into each others space on jumpers which is kinda dangerous
Fomby is aaaallll hands on defence. He’s a bucket but if they’re counting fouls i feel these quicker guys would blow by him on the perimeter half the time. No wonder they get frustrated playing him. Great videos 🙌
@@wingman5100 look at 5:55 for example. He got the call there but he didn’t get the call often enough that it had a huge impact on the game. Dude is using his hands like an offensive lineman. Not really even active hands or sliding his feet. Just pushing/holding.

I'm with you Friga, I didn't like the way this went down! Fomby can't try to bully Kam & then when Kam calls his fouls Fomby wants to argue it. Kam was smacked on arms, given no room to land on jumpshots, getting pushed off on defense lol
I don't know about this one man. Fomby's skills are too good to be playing so toxic on defense. I know how it can get on court, but some of those plays were just not it. We all know why that game's energy was so off, c'mon now. More props to Kam, it really shows how mature of a baller he is. Respect.
It seems like Fomby doesn't want to admit that Kam is on his skill level. So he proved that Kam is the lil bro in this match up. But I agree if Kam puts on more weight or gets more lean, he'd be able muscle his way to the basket more easily.
