@JustBlout Why not? Hes been the focus of the team since his 2nd season. In the playoffs every year. I know winning is hard but playing consistently as your teams best player shouldn't be.
@@TheUndefeatedOfTheEast Tatum has actually been playing well with everything OUTSIDE of scoring this year but also it takes a lot of experience to win a championship and rn I think the Celtics are the most experienced
@@JustBloutno Jayson Tatum is just inconsistent in high pressure games he could drop 30 one night then 10 the next and he just isnt a leader he doesnt have the personality and presence to really be one he could be the best player on a team but never lead them anywhere
Bro has no excuse to have that fg percent in 2024. No excuses to have that fg percent w that roster. Now combine those 2 things and laugh at him. Inexcusable
*@chauvintookaknee4blm268* The roster that he has around him is currently significantly worse than it was during the regular season with Porzingis being out. Also he's improved his scoring efficiency over the past 3 games and played great. Averaging... *Tatum 2024 playoffs through first 2 rounds:* 24.3ppg on 48.0eFG% (56.5TS%) 10.4rpg 5.8apg 2.1TOVs 1.0spg 0.8bpg ...in winning efforts is nothing to laugh at at all. In fact those are great numbers.
If I Never Watched Them Play Until These Playoffs I’d Still Think Tatum Was The Best Player On The Team. Jumper Isn’t Falling Still Doing Everything Else At An High Level. Hopefully He Snaps Out Of His Shooting Slump Soon.
@@brycejunco Off His Gravity. He’s Doing Everything Else At A High Level. Scoring Bias Kills Tho So Ik How It Is But If You Watching Them Play Everybody Is Eating Off Him. Especially In That First Round Series Against Miami. He Just Had A Shooting Slump.
He’s had over 60 possessions 1v1 on max strus and has had one decent game in the series so far. He’s simply not getting it done right now. I think it’s a slump too. But he’s settling way too much on jumpers. He’s not playing how he should
@@brycejunco I Agree He Can Play Better But I Think A Big Portion Of The Struggle Was How He Was Utilized. To Add More Context TJ McConnell Has A Higher Usage Rate Than Jayson Tatum This Postseason.
Tatum us over hyped. Been saying it for years. He just looks good when he plays because he is fluid and looks effortless but he chokes when they need him. He just doesn’t have the dog in him. Any real basketball scholar knows this but 90% of fans never play basketball or know what the game is about they just repeat what Sportscenter says. Jalen has no handles. Both Tatum and Jalen going to be washed up VERY quickly when their athleticism starts deteriorating with age. Someone like Curry started working on his handles to offset the leavues adjustment to his perimeter offense, someone like Lebron worked on his midrange and passing… Jalen and Tatum don’t have shit but athleticism and they don’t have thay dog in them IMO. You can respectfully disagree
Jimmy butler was out this whole playoff , lebron choked , AD choked. The nuggets might get sent home.. The Knicks might get sent home, the thunder are a game away from getting sent home with SGA a so called MVP yet Boston has been handling everyone in front of them. Yall worried about his field goal percentage and last time I checked Tatum plays both sides of the court. He’s doing it on the defensive end with rebounds and blocks. He’s passing the ball as well. Yall just hate on him cause he’s putting 50 a game lol. BTW KD is out the playoffs, so are the clippers , and the Bucks who were crowned champs before the season started. The best ability is availability.
It’s almost like we got playoff raisers and playoff chokers, some players like jimmy play better when it matters most and some don’t, they either produce the same stats or less, like a Joel Embiid for example, Jayson Tatum just doesn’t rise in the playoffs
This is his literal first bad playoff😅 the 2022 season was only bad in the finals, but he still provided in all of his other playoff outings. Hell, even in this season he leads the team in rebounds blocks and assists and pass to assists and plus-minus. I get what chill is saying
@@EmmanuelAniTheSchism he’s averaging 20 and 10 with the worst fg and 3pt percentage I’ve ever seen from him, you gotta think context, everyone talks about him like he’s a top 10 player in the league and I can name ALOT of players averaging 20 points in the playoffs that are ALOT better and a lot more efficient then Jayson Tatum
@@Swolliey once again, we reroute back to my initial statement. He leads the team in rebounds, assists, pass to assists, blocks, and plus minus. I agree that he's having a bad offensive night from the scoring perspective regarding efficiency, but he is also doing everything else for the team.
@@yahiaali4059 I know but idk if pierce was ever considered top 5 his entire time in the league. But Tatum gets touted as a top 5 player year in and year out. When he’s not even better than pierce. And let’s not even talk about in the clutch as we seen tonight. When Tatum 🤣 did that unnecessary step back
@@t-god2439 in 2008 Pierce was definitely top 5 when they won the chip he was getting a lot of love . I think Pierce is better than tatum in regards to being clutch I think ur underrating who Pierce is
@@yahiaali4059 I don’t think I’m under rating how good pierce was. I actually appreciate him more now that I’m older. I just don’t ever remember pierce having the same talks take place about him. Despite him being better than Jason “stepback 3” Tatum. Especially at this point in their careers
@@yahiaali4059 08 tho 🤔 I never thought about that. Probably because Garnett was on his team and is and was a better player. But 🤔 Kobe, wade, Duncan, bron, yeah you might be right maybe CP3
