For 75 years, the NBA has been the biggest basketball league in the world. In the very near future that will change because Saudi Arabia are taking over sport, they have already invested billions into Golf, Soccer, Football & UFC and other sports. Very soon, they will come and takeover the NBA and there is nothing anybody can do to stop Saudi from buying basketball. NBA players have even started reacting to some of the Saudi contracts in other sports, Giannis Antetokoumpo has been tweeting Al Hilal everyday since they offered Neymar and Kylian Mbappe those crazy contracts. LeBron James said he'd go to Saudi and so did Draymond Green,. The NBA cannot compete with Saudi, and that's why they are inevitable..

Ever since Giannis keeps talking about Saudi, I think it may be a for gone conclusion that Saudi Arabia will dabble in basketball whether that be buy buying NBA teams or offering MASSIVE contracts to NBA players

People in saudi don't watch NBA but they do watch football

The difference is the Saudi football clubs were very relevant to the saudis themselves, the rivalry between teams fan base was strong, Saudis always made you feel like they are watching the champions league. I knew the names of a lot of Saudi football teams even before these big transfers, I never heard of any of the Saudi basket ball teams.

I think James Harden will do it I think Russ having a family may make him a 50/50 after what Gil said Ty Lue said to him about Russ pretty much taking that money just to be in LA I don’t think it will be him but it probably will be HARDEN

I moved to the Middle East, we have nba pre seasons in Abu Dhabi every year now. Slowly but surely they will migrate to retaining these talents for their own league. Doubt it’ll be an entire league move but they will definitely make a difference

Rather than Saudi makes Saudi basketball league relevant via transfer, I think they'd rather buy the NBA entirely. Similar to their buying of golf but run it like they run the football/soccer team.
