In this video, I cross the border into Ghana. My original plan was to ride to the north of Ivory Coast first, so I could still explore a little of the country. However, violence is spreading from Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger and the north of Ivory Coast is therefore not safe any longer either. So I figured it was better to cross the border into Ghana, and visit a small stilt village on a lake, called Nzulezo.

You are an amazing person. I'm Nigerian, and watching I kept praying your tour of Africa goes well and no attack to you and/possessions. You are very brave indeed. I don't think I could do what you've done even as an African. There's true humanity about you. The fear of evil takes away our opportunity to explore and enjoy life experiences, and that's what you continue to prove. This episode blew me away, especially when you went to the village, and then you carried that little girl with so much love and sense of care. I think this planet will be the most amazing place for all if humans have your kind of mindset. Keep it up and all the very best. Subscribed and following👍🏽.

Your story has been a tremendous source of inspiration, particularly for young girls in Africa. Because of you, they now believe that as women, they can achieve absolutely anything.

Words can’t describe the bravery of this woman in so many level: going alone in dangerous places, leaving all behind to chase a dream, on a bike, alone, day and night, alone, in uncharted, dangerous places, at night, alone, on a bike, alone, thousand of miles away from home, alone… my admiration for this human being is way, way over the top of any conceivable scale. I wish you the best, make safe trips and of course I have subscribed to your channel.

Uncharted? West Africa has been charted and mapped. You're talking about a region where hundreds of millions of people live. What she does is amazing so there's no need to exaggerate.
@sccboy22
@sccboy22 5 месяцев назад
My thoughts exactly, Africans are the nicest people you would ever encounter in your life time and they are very respectful and welcoming to strangers/visitors. We that live in the west have a very bad misconception of that continent. Yes there are atrocities going on in some parts due to government corruption but as we all have seen from her videos, she’s avoiding those parts and even the locals are warning her where not to go.

That is the way the world use to be before the 18th and 19th centuries Europeans brought racism into the World after they started dominating the world. Yes but the dangers are still too great to do this kind of stuff she has to be prepared and by prepared I mean prepared to defend herself, she looks well prepared for travel but I don’t see any preparation for battle only the internet and that am afraid will not save her you don’t go into a gun fight with knives or even worse pepper spray a motorcycle and a camera that’s just being too naïve to be brave is good but to wise is even greater. I lived in those areas for many years you come out looking too fancy plus you look different you already a prey it’s just a matter of when and with no friends within these grounds you just like a cricket meaning she will not last seriously

@geobun2734
@geobun2734 9 месяцев назад
@@jasonzerbini2375 am definitely going to have a look at other episodes, when I see her I don’t think it’s intelligence that’s getting her through I think it’s more like courage, which is fine by me but even being courageous has it’s limits it’s better to wise than courageous and wisdom acted upon will land you far safely in the end than any courage…. So looks vulnerable, intelligent maybe that’s one way to look at it am not saying she’s not, but I have seen these stuff happening before when that times run out something happens and it’s over like a flash, all her viewers will all pour their sympathy and move on the next day… I have lived in Africa for a long long time, it’s not luck that get you by , it’s a mixture of all Aka wisdom, same goes for all the dangerous places on earth. To me when I look at her she looks very vulnerable, very we throw all praises on how smart she and all that’s all good but time has it’s on way of throwing it’s verdict. I know it looks like she’s bringing the world with her because she’s filming but that’s just a misconception one I bet she rely as a side comfort , but it takes two seconds to take that comfort back to reality, the minute that camera is kicked off the world is gone, seen it before many times. She’s courageous no doubt but as I said earlier wisdom is far better, want to go to war? Don’t go without your weapons because you suddenly feel courageous, courage never lasts it comes and goes, but if you can carry your Armor in any battle you will be ready for a fight…

*Ms Noraly, Wow that aerial shot of the tiny stilt house village on the side of the lake with 510 people is amazing... What a lifestyle they lead and every child is taught to swim to be safe in the water. Thanks for showing us again how people is the smaller villagers live.*

Seeing that lake and the fresh water drinking/sanitary situation reminded me about the Bilharzia, and really nasty worm derived disease, in fact another Ozzie round the world rider picked it up from a lake in east Africa. Takes a long time to get cured. Our maids job first thing in the morning in Dar es Salaam and Entebbe was to boil up some of the tap water and then let it slowly pass through a stone filter, then placed in the fridge so we always had some clean drinking water, my mother was fairly paranoid about this, constantly reminding me and my sister not to drink any other water outside.

i'd actually say that they live more fulfilling life than we in the west with the artificial needs we created. Stable families, having a higher purpose, belonging, being needed is all you actually need. We didn't evolve or weren't created to crave for the latest iphone, or newest flavor of cola.. that's all unnecessary and even bad for us, so think again who lives more natural and fulfilling life.

Your videos bring back memories Noraly, from 40 years ago. Aged 23 had no direction in life so went on one of the early arrranged overland trips across Africa in 4x4 ex-army Bedford lorry taking in 10 countries over 4 1/2 months. It was early days and the small group of 12 of us in total sat around camp fires each night deciding which countries we'd like to go through on the way back to UK. Stopped off at some amazing places seeing Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda, Pygmy tribes in Zaire and Africa's garden of Eden, Ngorongoro in Tanzania, where animals are trapped in a16km wide crater. Came back truly inspired and went on to start up own successful business and carry on travelling. When you see millions of people struggling to eat and stay alive, yet still smiling and being happy, it is truly humblinng. It makes you appreciate life and to be grateful for what you have as well as being kind and generous to all those around you. Would reccommend it to anyone to take on the challange and return a better person and enjoy life to the full.
